Not a problem to us but parking is limited and you have to park a street or so away, however there is a way of unloading close to the property and then you can re-park. We enjoyed not using the car and walking.

Comfy room, comfy bed. Hospitality very good, they include decaffeinated tea which most places neglect to put in the room. Plenty of water available. Generous with milk and biscuits! The accomodation was warm. The breakfasts were outstanding and allergy fully taken account of. Generally a really pleasant place to stay. As walkers, we loved that you could walk from The Castleton for our coastal walk and into Swanage for evenings. We didn't use our car during our stay!!!

Only 3 parking spaces, but that can’t be helped!

The hotel was light and airy, very modern and beautifully decorated - it seemed brand new! It was so homely. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was large and spotlessly clean, lovely carpets, nice and quiet, the breakfast was superb!! Portions were huge! And so tasty! Kate and her staff were very friendly and kind. I would definitely stay again.

Only thing that lets it down is the parking, it’s not easy to park on the roads close by either as double yellow lines … but everything else about the property is lovely

Two taps for water when it comes to toilet sink. Limited parking but was able to park for free at north beach car park so not a prob.

Breakfast -plenty of choice, freshly made Fresh fruit and homemade granola was delicious! Free parking at the side of the road, 5 minutes walk from the beach,and 10 from the town. Lounge for general use with TV and board games. Staff all very friendly. Highly recommended

There is a pub opposite which was noisy on a Friday night but didn’t bother us too much and it was all quiet by 11pm.

We stayed in the family room for 2 nights during February half term. The family room was great as the children had an adjoining twin bedroom (unlike other family rooms where we are all in the same room together) and there was an en-suite bathroom. The beds were really comfortable and the room was spotlessly clean. There were plenty of towels, tea, coffee, biscuits and water in the room which was very much appreciated. The breakfasts were generous with lots of choice. There was parking available for 3 cars and we were 15 minutes walk along the seafront to get to the high street and train station so didn’t have to use the car once we arrived.

Everything was 1st class!

Limited parking but plenty of close street parking available. Everything at the Casleton was excellent, three minute walk to the beach and promenade and 15 to the town centre. Room comfortable, clean and spacious, breakfast had a very good selection and the staff were really helpful. Couldn't fault it in anyway. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

I can't recommend this place highly enough!! The room and bed were really comfy and well cleaned. There is a kettle in the room, a bottle of water, biscuits and different types of tea. If needed, you can ask for more (water bottles are free to take from the fridge downstairs). The breakfast was extremely good, both in quantity and quality. The staff were mega friendly and the place is not that big so there is no noise from other rooms/floors. The location might seem a bit far from the center, but the town is small (<15 min walking) and there is a bus stop right outside the hostel. I would definitely stay here again!
