Gravel car park. The gravel was too deep and loose in places making it difficult to walk on . More like an F1gravel trap but without the JCB to pull you out

Our room had the road on one side and a door used to enter the accommodation on the other so it was a little noisy in the early evening, though it became nice and quiet at night.

The hotel is set in beautiful countryside, though next to a road. The breakfast was excellent. The room was comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful. There is plentiful parking and it is very handy for the M4.

The manager and staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. We had an excellent evening meal and lovely breakfast. Our room was excellent,it was spacious and well presented, with patio attached. The bathroom was clean and modern.

The decor was dark needs to be brightened up with at least 2 bedside lamps.

Had Egg Royale for Breakfast on my first morning which was excellent, the full English following morning was terrible.

No water in room at all boiler went off a little annoying when wanting shower but resolved after 20 minutes

Wine too expensive!! Although we love dogs I'm not sure the managers dog sleeping in the entrance/ exit to the restaurant is great for health & safety! Neither should it be walked through the restaurant when paying customers are eating. Bedside lamps would have been appreciated for night-time reading .

Comfortable bed. Beautiful toiletries and tea and coffee options. Great housekeeping. Dave is a great asset to the team, always a smile and kind word.

Our room’s bathroom had a pebble floor which we found uncomfortable. Apart from that everything was very comfortable and good quality.

Our room was very close to the road. Road noise was noticeable in the morning (from just before 7am). The excellent host did warn us of this at check in and ear plugs were provided. Whilst it didn't severely affect us, for those wanting a lie in, I would advise asking for a different room in this otherwise excellent establishment.

Fantastic breakfast and very welcoming staff who were attentive to our needs. Good bed, lovely ensuite and tasty tea and coffee provided in room.

Shower was great, but tended to overflow onto the floor after a short while!

Great - very welcoming and friendly staff. Comfortable, well designed room with private outdoor space. Option of fresh milk for room. Fantastic food. As it was our wedding anniversary, we were treated with a little "Happy Anniversary" treat with our dinner - a nice touch!

The room above ours had creaking floor which was a little irritating, this was a shame, when this was mentioned ,we were informed it was being looked into and would not prevent us from booking again.

Next to noisy road, so couldn't have windows open. Needed the fan on all night to keep cool.

Very comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Good choice for breakfast.
