Everything was perfect! Really characterful and stylish b&b, with comfy beds and everything you could need. Breakfast was delicious and Piper and Terrence, the owners, couldn’t be lovelier. Also the garden is amazing!

The bath in the room we had was a bit squeezy but no plroblem. Next time we would go for a room which is a little bigger

Everything! We loved every minute of our stay. Piper and Terence were amazing hosts who couldn't do enough for us. Every little detail was taken care of. Would not hesitate to recommend the Devonian.

A fabulous property run by Terence and Piper who after meeting treat you as friends, providing so many extras a gym, a sauna, cinema,bar, hot tub. They give advice on attractions, and things ilfracombe have to offer. The breakfast was fabulous, so many choices, having been lucky enough to stay in alot of 5 star hotels, the breakfast at the Devonian is alot better. The rooms are luxurious having thought and provided all the extras needed and so tastefully done in keeping with their old house character. We really enjoyed our two night stay and were so lucky to have nice weather, that made it even better. The Devonian is quiet, near to the harbour about 10 min walk and all the amenities, we feel so lucky to have chosen this bed and breakfast accomodation.

We have just returned from a Stay at the Devonian and can Highley recommend it . The host’s Piper and Terence have created a guest house that is welcoming, comfortable and furnished in a very memorable way. They have shared their interests in an eclectic mix of items which are displayed around the public rooms, and these create an ambiance which is both comforting and fun. Due to time constraints we were not able to make full use of all the facilities on offer but we will make sure that on our next visit.

The location was within easy access to the central city. The breakfast was amazing - the best Ehglish breakfast we have ever had and the service was excellent. The staff were attentive to every detail and made suggestions for dinner and a seaside road to sea the beaches

A truly exceptional stay at the most beautiful venue - the attention to detail throughout was second to none and made our experience even more special. - Our bathroom and shower were a little on the small side. Not uncommon when a modern bathroom has been retro-fitted into an older building.

- Terence & Piper were welcoming hosts. Relaxed and friendly they were a wealth of information on Ilfracombe and surrounding areas. - Our room was a good size with lovely decor and quality furniture. We had a nice outlook over the gardens and across the town. - Substantial English breakfast cooked by Piper. Other options available if you aren’t into a big breakfast. - We didn’t use the bar area or gym but they both looked great. The gym was well equiped. - Easy walking distance into town, beaches and marina. - Quiet area. - Off-street parking.
