Fab, immaculately clean room thoughtfully furnished and decorated. Quirky bar and lovely breakfast room. Wonderful garden hidden below amongst the trees. The proprietors were welcoming and helpful.

It was a real gem! The host's were very welcoming and nothing was to much trouble. The room was exceptionally clean! ( no need for a towel on my pillow here 😆) It wasn't very far from the town and so peaceful.

Wow what can I say this place is a real Gem. The room was perfect the breakfast was delicious and the garden was just something else. Piper and Terance are amazing people we loved everything about our stay here .

Nothing much to dislike - property had ample parking but a couple of spots were tight. However, it’s a quite area with ample free on street parking.

The property is extremely clean and well decorated - could not find a speck of dust in our room. facilities were amazing for a B&B which included a bar, gym, sauna, hot tub and a garden to relax in. Property is also well located and only a 5 minute walk to the Tunnels Beaches and 15 minutes from the harbour. But the biggest plus for this property is the hosts Terence and Piper who were extremely helpful and friendly. You won’t be disappointed with the breakfast either - plenty of choices.

Wonderful stay at Piper and Terence's amazing guest house. We both left agreeing it was the best guest house we have ever stayed in! Service was fantastic, rooms top notch, excellent to have a range of vegan breakfast options too! Piper and Terence's personnel touch really makes the guest house what it is, you can tell they enjoy what they do and take the time to get to know their guests. One of the cleanest place we’ve stayed, very quiet apart from the birds singing, it was lovely getting back to nature. The gardens/woodlands belonging to the property are so beautiful even has a brook at the end of it. Our room was very spacious and comfortable with a games table, TV with DVD player and DVD’s and two large very comfy sofa’s. The bar was a nice place to finish the day with a drink over looking the woodland. Both Piper and Terrence made us feel very welcome and made time for us even though they were so busy. Terrence has a wicked sense of humour which we both loved. Piper is an excellent cook, her Full English breakfast is so delicious as is her fresh fruit waffles and avocados with hummus and tomotoes on thick toast. All for less than you would pay at the local Premier Inn! P.S Terrence, that means you can’t put your prices up 🤣

We liked Everything! We stayed in seven different accommodations during our road trip and this was by far the best. Piper and Terence are amazing hosts. They are friendly and funny and incredibly welcoming. The house is wonderful, it is designed and decorated with a lot of style. It has a personal touch and a very warm atmosphere. Breakfast was amazing, the table was set with so much love and food was delicious with many options to choose from. The garden behind the house is a piece of heaven. We would have loved to stay a couple of days just for sitting in the different cosy corners they have created.

The B&B meantioned strictly no alcohol in the rooms. Not that I would want to drink much but when away and relaxing of an evening watching TV in the room, I would like a glass of wine to sip away at.

The location was great, easy to walk to the centre of ilfracombe. The B&B itself was tastefully decorated and loved all the little extra touches in the room such coffee machine, eye mask next to the bed, body scrub, all small but make the difference. Great cooked breakfast with added extras as well, croissant, cereal, fresh fruit and yogurt.

Only being there for one night - we would like to stay longer next time.

We chose to stay here at the start of the Devon Coast to Coast cycle ride because of the high booking.com score which is thoroughly deserved. Piper and Terence were extremely helpful and friendly and provided secure overnight storage for our bikes and filled our water bottles without us even needing to ask. The room we stayed in was spacious and beautifully furnished and it was lovely to sit on the terrace with a beer overlooking the wonderful garden. We really appreciated all the thoughtful touches such as the drying service for wet swimwear. The breakfast was superb with a great choice of hot dishes. This will definitely be our first choice of places to stay in Ilfracombe from now on.

We were made extremely welcome by Piper and Terence. Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was exceptionally good. The Devonian is a charming house with many unique features.

As well as having beautiful rooms, there is a bar, a gym, a sauna and a mini cinema. Breakfast was amazing and had everything you could want. The hosts were fantastic and it was a pleasure to stay there.

We were in the small, twin room, but it was bigger than we expected and very comfortable (although the shower cubicle could have been slightly larger). Terence and Piper were excellent hosts and gave us very helpful suggestions for our trip. Breakfast was delicious. Parking was reasonably easy to manage. Easy to walk into the harbour and to the nearby Ilfracombe Lookout.

A perfect end location for our cycle tour. The accommodation was immaculate, styleful and welcoming. Terrence and Piper were fantastic hosts, warm and friendly. They were knowledgeable of the area, what they didn’t know they googled for us. The marvelous cooked and presented breakfast was first class, served in a beautiful room. A place we will tell and recommend to friends, and return to if we are again in the area.

A gem on the South West Coast path. By far the best stay on our hiking trip. Lovely hosts with an eye for detail. The Devonian is an artwork that is a pleasure to stay in.
