No orange juice for two days. Lack of hangers in wardrobe Lack of surfaces on which to place belongings Shower screen leaked Towel ring coming away from wall Poached eggs were cooked solid on one day

Full English was very good. Room was comfortable and clean Staff were friendly Good atmosphere Appreciated that hotel had a lift

WIFI was poor in around the hotel including the room.

Nothing at all really, though Poundbury was a bit dull, but ideal for a stopover enroute to the West country

Welcoming staff and a complimentary drink was gratefully accepted. Lovely big bedroom adorned with framed pictures. Very comfy bed and good shower. Gentle blue light automatically came on when got up to go the bathroom at night. Breakfast had all the trimmings and was excellent, with very helpful and cheerful lady host. Free Parking was standard. Vibrant large bar area on ground floor and a quieter dining area on first floor.

Everything was perfect. It was so lovely to witness it all lit up and night. Parking is free all over the town.

If I were to try and find one issue it would be the poor signal and wifi !!!

Deluxe Room - Very Clean, warm and bed comfortable Breakfast - Good selection Bar Food - Sides were on the small size, sharing portions were reasonable and food was fresh and tasty Atmosphere - Warm, relaxing, not quiet but not manix or loud. Dog friendly and just a nice relaxing enviroment with friendly staff and members of the public. We stayed the weekend here from 24.11.23 - 26.11.23 All the staff were friendly and helpful but there were two members of staff that really impressed us.... Georgia & Josh went above and beyond...providing a service that was much appreciated. They were helpful, empathetic and nothing was too much trouble. Both went out of thier way to ensure my Partners trapped nerve and diabetic needs were catered for, providing an ice pack, tailored food request, local information and nothing was too much trouble. I honestly can't thank them enough. Mr M Knight

This property is in a lovely peaceful location and we stay here when we have been visiting family in Cornwall as it’s half way between us. We had an excellent evening meal, we have always found the food good and breakfast was delicious

The bedroom lighting could be improved for reading purposes. The staff made several errors, including removing all our towels and forgetting to replace them and forgetting the starter I ordered. They seemed to be focusing on a large party so that paying guests were getting sidelined.

Room too hot. Irritating flashing light from smoke alarm
