How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Dry, cool overcooked muffins, tasteless hollandaise.Coffee weak and too cool.
Breakfast was quite good . Meusli and yogurt and fruits good, but muffins and hollandaise were poor from cooked breakfast

Having to leave!
All extremely good. At the end of the day it is the staff that made my stay a memorable experience - I was impressed with their empathy, efficiency, helpfulness and professionalism. The hotel itself is an amazing building steeped in history with a congenial atmosphere located in the centre of Ledbury with its own car park . Excellent breakfast cooked to order. Dinner menu provided plenty of choice. The waiter handled the chaotic meal ordering by my party of 14 with aplomb. Everyone enjoyed the meal they finally ordered!

The landing, stairs etc need a refresh. I could hear people coming and going as my room was by the main staircase.

A minor point, but the floor in our bathroom was very creaky which might well disturb neighbouring rooms
The room (No 17) was good, comfortable and well equipped. The breakfast was excellent - freshly cooked wih plenty of choice.

The stairs were a challenge with a case as there is no lift in this old building. Fortunately, staff members were able to help me.
Centrally located. Lovely, well designed and planned rooms with all you need for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was lovely. The vegan breakfast was tasty.

Knowing the parking was difficult to find before we arrived, but we were very short notice, booked an hour before we arrived.
The dinner was beautiful, great for my husband who is lactose and gluten free, the room was wonderful (the cottage) as we were very tired, had 2 dogs, needed somewhere very last minute, we booked online, when we got there, the radio was on with relaxing music, it was warm with a welcoming message and we fully relaxed immediately.

Great village location. The Feather is a beautiful hotel with a relaxing and charming ambience. The rooms are wonderfully decorated and to a very high standard. The breakfast and service is impeccable.

If I have to find something wrong, I would say I would like a little bit more from the menu as I stayed there for five days. It was the same menu. It would’ve been nice to have a special each night to have a bit of variety but the food was nice walk came out.
Very nice pub hotel lovely open fire and plenty of places to sit to have a drink and to work on your laptop staff always happy to help when was very clean

The room we stayed in was lovely apart from the shower which was barely more than a trickle ☹️

Only had 1 sachet of coffee in the bedroom so had to source more . Asked for a drink in the bedroom on arrival as a surprise for the birthday boy which was confirmed by hotel but didn’t materialise.
Restaurant and staff were amazing . It was my husbands birthday and he had a free main meal and pudding . Food delicious and Callum and Reuben were brilliant .
