United KingdomI can honestly say it lived up and exceeded my expectation.
It was perfect in every way. It was old fashioned- yet beautifully kept and very clean. The bed was very big and comfortable and the bathroom had a good supply of hot water and the shower had an excellent pressure. They also gave me a late checkout, when I asked and offered to look after my suitcase, so I could explore the town before heading back home.

United KingdomParking at the hotel was very tight.....so much so that we decided to park in the public car park right behind the hotel.....probably didn't help that we have a large SUV, so if you have a small family car it'll be fine to park at the rear of the hotel
Exceptional hotel with stacks of history, the town was very quaint with loads of history and fabulous buildings, some very nice facilities inc old pubs and nice restaurants with more independant shops than we've seen in one place for a very long time. Well worth a visit

Our room was spotlessly clean and very well equipped , love a Nespresso machine in a hotel room. We didn't eat at the hotel but this was our choice and nothing at all to do with Restaurant. Might be a very small thing but important to us that once we had checked out just wanted a bit of quiet time before setting off , not a problem to sit in the beautiful lounge. The whole team were so welcoming and helpful, the whole Feathers Hotel experience was perfect - thank you team.
