THE ONLY PROBLEM IS PARKING AS IT IS DOUBLE YELLOW LINES ALL AROUND THERE IS A CAR PARK CLOSE BY AT £7 FOR THE DAY

THE ROOM WAS VERY GOOD WITH DRESSING GOWNS AND LOVELY SOFT TOWELS. THE BREAKFAST WAS EXCELLENT GOOD QUALITY AND WELL PRESENTED. aLL THE STAFF WERE VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY

Would have liked room to have been warmer. Mentioned it to staff, central heating was put on but made little difference. Position of TV in our room No.14 poorly positioned..colliding with it a definite possibility.

The rooms were a bit tatty, the walls especially could do with a repaint. Lots of scuff marks and chips etc.

The staff were exceptional, incredibly friendly and accommodating. Our room was quiet and dark overnight which is fantastic. Bathroom was beautiful and the shower was so lovely.

One room gets affected by the pizza oven. This makes it smell like smoke.

The staff were fantastic. They provided exceptional customer service. Food was really good. The location was fabulous. We totally loved the beer garden under the trees. A member of our party had an issue with her room and they were offered a room change immediately, in fact upgraded. Fantastic.

Lack of parking but only a minor issue. Rooms above a pub so whilst it didn't affect me personally they're maybe noise on some evenings.

Excellent location near Central attractions. Only a single room but good size and a modern bathroom. Cooked breakfast was also good.

We had a problem with the TV which unfortunately couldn't be fixed while we were there. However this was dealt with to our satisfaction by the very helpful staff.

Lovely comfortable room with good a/c which was great as it was so hot the night we stayed. Staff very welcoming and helpful. 1 minute walk into market square and other pubs/restaurants. Excellent breakfast.

Breakfast service was abysmal. Took 35 minutes to serve my order, by which time I had to leave to get my train.

The hand wash pump bottle was broken, but I was too tired (and I'm not petty enough) to complain. Great stay.

I stayed after a hard (25 mile) walk from Birmingham. The manager was very accommodating. The room was really nice, with a modern bathroom and comfy bed, as well as the bar area being great. After a much needed lie-in, I had an espresso (from the machine in the room, amazing), then had to dash off quicky at breakfast. While scoffing my Weetabix, the staff offered to make me a bacon sandwich for the next leg of my journey. Much appreciated, thanks!

I didn’t like the fact they didn’t have a car park so had to pay everyday for a public one which wasn’t too far away but cost £7 a day

No on-site parking. Although pay car park very close by . Shower had no facility for holding shower gels and shampoo, making it inconvenient to pick up from the shower base .

The payment system isn’t great unlike dinner they have a card reader to pay for food but it was awkward paying for the room itself leading to calls looking as if I hadn’t paid when I did just a different way to the norm

The bedrooms are not all as tastefully decorated as the others.

The bar and restaurant are beautifully decorated. Food and drinks were lovely.
