We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Canadanothing really ...
This was our third stay here for a reason. It is an easy drive from Heathrow and has that quintessential "English Village Inn" feel to it. The food is good, the service is excellent and the English beer is terrific. I would highly recommend this as a perfect stopover for someone landing at Heathrow and wanting a first night nearby before heading off to other parts of Britain. There were some ridiculously tasty and probably incredibly unhealthy pork snacks in the bar ...

United KingdomThe bathroom sink tap didn't allow wate to flow out of the sink very well. My wife missed a wardrobe in the room, but I was glad there wasn't as it would have cut down on the space.
The room we had was very comfortable and a decent size. The food was absolutely superb. We had both breakfast & dinner., both fantastic and good value. Service was excellent. Hambleden is a perfect village. Very pretty with a great shop. The surrounding countryside is very picturesque.

United KingdomIt didn’t bother us, and there is nothing that could be done about it, but the staircase up to the rooms is very narrow and steep.
Beautiful old pub in a very pretty village. Our room was lovely; old world charm. We only stayed one night as we were travelling but the breakfast that I had was very good and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
