Bathtubs while beautiful are not for me. We didn't realise that there was no public transport to get around and whilst it was lovely walking through the fields to Mill End it would have been a no go if it had rained. Taxis could be ordered from Henley making it more expensive.

Very atmospheric pub in wonderful village. Nice quiet large room.

A lift would have been a great help, but given there was only the one upper floor, it would probably not be worth the cost.

Helpful and efficient staff who recognised my mobility issues and offered additional help. The location couldn't be faulted, and very convenient for the local airport to which we were going the next day.

We were put in a disabled access room. Everything in the bathroom was very low down, and my husband is 6'2. Would have appreciated that room as an option.

Parking - there are lots of signs that say parking is to be paid for. Nothing states that hotel or pub patrons do not need too - we had already paid to park before we foubd out we did not need too.

Beautiful old pub set in little village. Very well brought up to date while retaining charm and atmosphere Staff extremely good nothing too much trouble Excellent breakfast menu. Highly recommended

Hotel was great. Sadly the furniture in our room was very dusty. Dogs in the breakfast room was not acceptable

The hotel is set in a beautiful village. Lovely hearty English breakfast Evening meal, we had a good selection on the menu and good portions and really tasty great value for money. Rooms were a nice size, clean and the bed’s were comfortable ,overall lovely stay

Our only issue was with a loud bird but that's not the hotel's fault.

This our second visit and it did not disappoint. Quintessential English experience, from the decor to the food. Short drive from Heathrow and a great place for a day or two.

Bit of a slow service on the Sunday evening but they had a really busy day so understandable.

The cottage was lovely. The beds were really comfy. Lovely cosy feeling. The food was really good and highly recommend the breakfast. Very dog friendly which was great. Will definitely stay again !

the back yard is very open and shared so no good to let your dog out but easy enough to let them out the front on a lead

The room was very warm and we couldn’t cool it down even with the window open all night.

Ideal location for us to stopover on our way south. Lovely village - we enjoyed waking up to the sound of the birds. Great cooked breakfast. The room was lovely.

Everything was great and nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

Lovely hotel, clean and fresh, great bar and dining area and garden. lovely lunch menu and even nicer evening dinner menu. Food was excellent, breakfast cooked to order. Staff (in particular Yen) were amazing as short staffed but still gave us excellent service with a smile. Room was olde worlde and qwerky, bed was really comfy and we woke to lovely birdsong and no traffic noise.
