Some lighting to guide towards the shower /toilet block at night would be helpful.

Beautiful rural location . Amazing staff . Brilliant clean facilities . I would have liked the toilet/ shower block a little closer to the tents however this is not a negative it’s just me being lazy.

If we had any criticism it would be that the position of the bell tents provides little protection from windy weather. It would also be great if there was a little cut-through to the toilets etc, but honestly we would very happily return just as it is.

Vicky and Michelle (and Tom & Michael) are absolutely lovely, couldn’t be more helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Facilities are limited but everything we needed - washing up room with freezer, warm showers, clean toilets and lovely drinking water. Our bell tent was spacious, with plenty of room two adults and two adult-sized children as well as all our bits and bobs. We were not blessed with good weather so didn’t make as much use of the fire pit as we’d have liked, and the walk from the bell tent to the loos late at night felt further than it was in the wind and rain, but it all added to the camping experience!! All in all we had a wonderful couple of weeks at Pitt Farm and would love to return.

The wind! Ha! Was particularly windy for our week, however the farm went above and beyond to block the wind using bails and checking on teepee to ensure safety.

Totally excellent place to go and stay, so much space, fresh air, walks. Really friendly and accomadating family-run farm camp site. The teepee was very clean with very sweet little touches. Facilities are clean and well looked after as is the grass and maintenance of the camping fields. We will be staying again!

A fabulous find of a campsite. Quiet and facilities are very well maintained and clean. Communication from initial booking was easy and gave us everything we needed. Lovely walks from the campsite and not too far from beautiful beaches and coastal towns.

If I was being picky, I’d have rather the tents were further apart for more privacy, as the large field is otherwise empty.

Great value campsite on rural farmland. Lovely large tent all set up, ready for us to bring in our camping mats and sleeping bags. Fire pit is a nice touch - we bought firewood from the host and had a fire both nights.

I’ve been there for a weekend to have a relaxing time with my family and friends and I love that place. Nice and welcoming host, friendly and helpful. Facility were clean and you’ve got all you need there. Fridge / sink for washing dishes etc. Lovely area with plenty of space to have fun and games with family and friends. The bell tent is big enough for 8 people easily…. Keeps warm inside overnight even if it’s cold outside. Plenty of places to visit around the area. I would highly recommend this place.

    Nothing

It was set in a gorgeous location basically in a field in the middle of nowhere. The owners where amazing just blended in the background but always on hand if you needed anything or needed advice. The facilities where basic but just what you need. Drinking water, hot shower, sink to clean face and teeth and a flushing toilet. Nice little touch with the fire pit and logs to buy if you need them on site. Also what I loved with the no noise at nighttime was a massive plus for me with a young family.

The tents location. There are two big fields, the bell tents are the furthest away from the toilet block, all tents are placed next to each other in one big field and right next to houses and a barn. The little time I did spend at the camp site, all I heard was tractors and animals screaming out. A cow was screaming out all night, not sure what was wrong with it, but at 4am I wondered why the tents were put next to a barn. Maybe put the tents at the top of the second field, less noise and slightly closers to the toilets.

Bell tent were big and clean and the staff I did meet, was very friendly. The kitchen area to wash up was nice and had a freezer to refreez your ice packs
