Hard to fault. Beautifully-constructed cabin for those wishing to experience some peace and quiet. Wonderful log burner which I could easily sit and watch all evening.

There was noise from a nearby road. It didn't disturb our sleep though.

Such a lovely hand finished lodge- every detail was well thought out. The host was so helpful - guiding us to a wonderful local restaurant in Uppingham and chatting about her farming journey. If we are in the area again we certainly would stay again.

There is nothing to put into a ‘not to like category’. I like a slightly firmer mattress but that’s just a personal preference!

Emma was so friendly and welcoming, we even got some of her chickens eggs to have for breakfast 😁 beautiful cabin with privacy so you could just switch off and relax.

What can’t I say!!! It’s was one of the best stay aways we’ve ever had. Cosy, warm, quirky and modern all at the same time. Emma was wonderful and accomadated our early arrival and late departure. We are coming back in the summer to pick some of the veggies!!!! Thank you so much

Loved its coziness and feeling of being isolated without being isolated. Felt like the best place to be on a cold winters night with the log burner roaring away. Emma was fantastic on arrival and really excited to see how the site will develop to make the stay even better in the future as the winery started to take shape!

The setting and architecture of the cabin is ever so charming, with such an eye for the small detail, full of warmth and cosiness. You'll find good quality on everything offered; from the comfortable bed, lush bedding, greatly fitted shower to every utensil in the kitchen. The personal and kind service was simply superb and generous; fresh flowers, help lighting the fire, complimentary coffee, jam and beautiful eggs which we had for breakfast. We stayed for one night and felt like a mini holiday as you feel so disconnected. I will definitely rebook again.

The bunk bed is above the double bed in the bedroom, and is ~<1m from the ceiling.

Great location for glamping and superb host. The lodge itself is very well equipped and has some lovely handmade touches. Comfy bed and high quality bedding. As a lodge to sleep 2 it's ideal.

What an amazing stay! Emma messaged the day before to ensure we would have everything we needed, and then welcomed us on arrival. The property has all you need, and a fenced in garden for our dog was a great bonus as you don’t usually find this elsewhere. There’s an honesty shop on-site with local produce, coffee and eggs - we had a great breakfast. 10/10 stay - we will be back.

What a hidden gem, fabulous location and beautiful cabin. The plot is secure so we could let our dogs roam safely. The pictures don’t do the place justice. Emma the owner of the site is lovely and makes you feel very welcome. It’s such a special place, can’t wait to visit again.

How dark the walk between the car park and the property is at night

Nice location, made homely, good view at the sunset, sustainable, we like how it was built by the family who own it. Log fire fit the cabin experience.
