Close to shops. Within walking distance of the bus station, so a good base if you want to explore the Lake District without a car. Lovely clean room. Tasty breakfast. Heather and Craig were both very welcoming. Felt very safe staying here as a solo traveller.

Set in a lovely location with stunning views of the Lakeland hills conveniently situated no more than a few minutes walk from Keswick town centre. Run by a lovely couple Heather and Craig who live there with their young family. We had a front bed room which was spacious with an excellent on suite and all facilities required tea, coffee, biscuits etc - there’s a shared lounge too. Breakfast was delicious with selections of cereal, yogurt etc and cooked breakfasts including vegetarian options. We had a lovely stay thank you.

Had a great stay at West View. Was in Keswick for work at Theatre by the Lake and it was a great location as it was just a short walk away. My room was clean and tidy on my arrival and Heather and Craig were great hosts. Good selection of teas and coffees in room and hosts provided chilled fresh milk which was a nice touch. Breakfast was great, I opted for a full English and Heather took great care to ensure any dietary requirements were met. I would 100% reccommend West View. Thank you for a great stay.

Lovely friendly welcome on arrival. Room was very nicely decorated, spotlessly clean and good quality furniture and furnishings. We had one full English breakfast and one pancakes with fresh fruit, maple syrup and cream ..... both were delicious, and really good quality ingredients. We will definitely stay again if in the area.

When we stayed parking was a little tricky due to a nearby road closure. HOWEVER, the main town car park is literally a minute walk away so no great issues.

A little niggle was breakfast times 8-9am. Not a major problem. Parking can be a problem. We were lucky to find a spot on the street outside.

It had a lovely view and a homely feel. Heather seems like a wonderful person and has a positive and lovely energy as a host. She made us feel comfortable in our stay and we were happy there were little to no disturbances ☺️

The location was excellent, a few minutes walk to the lake and town. The view was amazing. The breakfast was great and very filling you could have anything you wanted. We were made very welcome, nothing was too trouble, we couldn’t have wished for better hosts, such a lovely, friendly and welcoming family

Perfection at its best! My wife and I stayed the weekend to attend a wedding and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Our room at the West view was spotless, good size, lovely view, good shower, very comfy bed and we had an excellent breakfast to top off! The owners Heather and Craig are lovely.
