I don’t think anything was worth raising… perhaps toilet door lock needs looking at!

Warm, comfortable, fabulous situation by the river. Very quiet

We were made very welcome and given fresh milk for our hot drinks. We were also given an extra bedroom and bathroom that made our stay much more comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely delicious.

I would suggest considering replacing the mattesses on the twin beds in the River Room. I could feel the metal springs coming through in the one I had. Didn't spoil our stay as I put a bath towel folded on top.

The breakfast was very good. Our host was very friendly and helpful. Lovely b&b. The location is very beautiful. We also had an excellent meal in the evening at The Red Lion

Towels were a little damp and it was difficult to fill one of the kettles from bedroom tap as it was too large.

Location great and very central. Richard, the proprietor, was very friendly and helpful. He was able to share knowledge of the local area and provided a delicious breakfast. We will, hopefully, return in the future.

It was perfect for walkers (as we were) or cyclists - though if you’re looking for ‘boutique’ luxury some might be disappointed.

Shower pressure was a bit weak but that’s probably to be expected. A fridge in the room could have been handy, especially if you were staying longer.

A handy location in the small village of Burnsall. The house is full of the character you’d expect from an older property. The room was large with a good sized, clean bathroom. Breakfast was generous and served by the friendly and helpful owner. You can walk along the river to the local pub.

Richard, our host, was very welcoming and accommodating. He has a lot of knowledge of the area so was able to advise us about our route etc. which was helpful. Our room was comfortable and the location was great, with the Red Lion just around the corner serving excellent evening meals. Breakfast was good and plenty of it, to set us up for our day walking along the Dales way path.
