Very friendly Family! The island tour was superb and great talk by and with Wayne! Very kind, respectful and has good sense or humor. Maybe we have similar sense (poor him, haha). :D Just as his cheerful wife has the same (correction: of course, even more, hahahah). And they know everyone and everything on the island, just to make sure you never leave... Sorry, so they make sure that you get a good first impression, and want to come back again. :) Wayne told that everyone is like this in Carib but this is unfortunately not true. The house is a perfect location like a kingdom, from you see all way long. We ate a good lunch together and then had a good siesta. The evening spent with discussions about work, countries... I met with some other family members too, so, however it was unexpected not to be alone, it became a delightful time! Note: Originally I just booked this because it had the only accessible price and it did airport transits. If not mistaken, provided much more. Friendship and more trust that there are even more good people. And I'm not surprised that Wayne is a kind of public figure in Grenada. Just like Wayne Bruce. ;) ...The natural breeze was not enough for me but that is my fault. :)

Altare is located in a very quiet community atop a hill. If you want to exercise, the walk to and from the house is wonderful. There are supermarkets within walking distance from the house. Bus stops are also close-by, which you can use to get to town or even the nearest beach (Grand Anse) - you just need to learn the name of your stops and where they're located. While the family gives you space, they are always available to give advice and to answer any questions you may have. The house is very clean and I will definitely recommend it for a solo traveller.

Dark streets if returning from the beach ( after those stiff rum punch!) ;, hard to locate ( but solved by being picked up). Big climb, but manageable. A separate Cleaning fee that should be incorporated in to the charge

Ideal for Solo travellers. Picked up and Dropped from Airport, with an orientation tour plus ATM . And I was invited to have Sunday Lunch!!( hardly anything open on Sundays). I checked in at 8.30am, and Checked out 3.30pm, pretty unusual, but as a Solo accommodation, the market is limited. Hope more people attend to Solo travellers market!!

I had a delightful stay at this excellent accommodation! Both my hosts, Wayne and Edlyn, were incredibly accommodating and always ready to assist me. Wayne went above and beyond by arranging a fantastic last-minute island tour, while Edlyn treated me to the best meal of my vacation. For those without a car, being comfortable with walking is essential as the property is situated atop a hill. However, the bus stop, supermarket, beach, and restaurants are all easily accessible within a 15 to 20-minute walk. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here!

Nothing! Everything was lovely!

Wayne and Edilyn are so welcoming and friendly. Wayne will pick you up and drop you off at the airport which makes arrival and departure stress free. The site of the home overlooks a lovely clash of hills and there is a veranda you can sit and take it in. The property is only about a 15 minute walk to Grand Anse beach and it is quite easy to get shared taxis from there to St George and then elsewhere on the island.

While the walk to the beach is short (15ish minutes), just be prepared for the uphill on the way back! Wasn’t too challenging but something worth noting

From the moment I arrived I felt right at home! They were generous enough to pick me up at my previous lodging accommodation and even dropped me off at the airport. The views from the viscount were great and they also offered me to join them for lunch which was an amazing experience; if I ever come back to Grenada I know exactly where to stay!

I was not expecting Grenada to have such steep hills. The house was up a hill, and it is a good walk uphill from the bus stop. So it is best to get transport back to the house if you can't manage the walk up the hill to the house. There are hardly any fast food places in Grenada, and not a lot of restaurants and it seems most of the food places are in the capital so you will have to ask someone to show you where to go for food.

The host, Wayne, was supper nice and very accommodating, he gave me a tour of the capital and took me to get food. He showed me where to get the bus and where to go to buy food. My bedroom was adequate, very clean and quiet, and the bathroom was very clean and spacious. As a single female traveling by myself, I felt very safe staying with Wayne and in Grenada on a whole. The people of Grenada were very friendly and it is a very safe island.

There was nothing not to like. It was a vacation home and that it served as. If you have to walk up there, the little hill is a treasure.

The hospitality of the hosts was great. Very kind and patient people. People you can talk to if you need to. They are not selfish nor nosy. Mr williams, the gentleman is helpful. The view is spectacular place is private and quiet. Not far from town.
