How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Staff were amazing, woman who greeted us was very welcoming, helpful, offered us towels, made sure we had everything when we left - she was great. Sleeping was very tidy, albeit small, but kept in good condition. Bedding all very clean. Personal locker. Sockets at the bed. For the price you pay it is very good, don't expect luxury because you're not paying for it. We didn't use the kitchen, so cannot comment.

Great location, and friendly hosts. A place where you can cook, shower, and have internet. They let me try their homemade soup, and have me bread. I recommend for the hospitality!

The photos are not representative of the vibe. It’s being kinda taken over by El Hostel (not a nice energy don’t support them).
It’s a good price and the hosts are really lovely and friendly. It’s a good place if you just need to sleep - definitely the best budget option for Tbilisi

The whole building is clearly very very old, the shower is in the same room as the toilet, which is very very tiny and only around 1.8m high. Any bigger person will have a very tough time having a shower. Not the most comfortable place overall, but for me it was ok, since I stayed for 3 nights and was visiting the entire day, and eating out, not cooking.
Staff is very nice and helpful, the price is super cheap and the location is very very central, walking distance to everything. The common space outside is very nice in order to work or just hang out with other people, although without it there is nowhere to work or even sit down (in winter for example)

The facilities are small but its alright! :-)

I liked the owners of the hostel. I was glad to communicate with them and I felt their care. It was very interesting talking to them. I thank them for their company and for their attention and care. I wish them success and hope to see again!

It's just very old and run down but don't judge this book by its cover.
Such a friendly hostel and in a splendid location just off Rustaveli very close to the Metro station. Although the shower room is tiny the shower itself is extremely good with reliably hot water. Small but adequate kitchen. Nice warm dorm.

It's basic but I like the down to earth aspect. Shower room is tiny but it works.
Excellent location. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Good value for money. Warm in winter. Kitchen.

the dorm room size too small
The host lady is a very nice person. The hostel itself is located in the very center of Tbilisi just a few meters up from the Rustaveli subway station. The Hostel is clean and has a nice balcony

It is very patched-together, complete with all kinds of sketchy wiring, and is well used. The beds are quite uncomfortable, you 100% feel the springs. The windows are open and they started to have a mosquito problem, later in my stay I'd get eaten alive, really I think there must have been some standing water.
The cheapest place in Tbilisi and in a great location next to the Rustaveli metro station. The hosts are amazing people and are what turn an extreme-budget shanty town into a really nice community. I've definitely stayed in "nicer" hostels, but this place has a spunk to it that make you forget about its rough edges.

Even though the location is good, the place is dirty, there are bedbugs, and it is not comfortable at all. One shower and bathroom for the whole hostel. You probably can't find worse in Tbilissi.

Best hostel ever. Breakfast is amazing, the Sushi prepared in the hostel is outstanding. Wonderful place to stay.
