How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It's a tiny bit far from from the town centre but it wasn't a problem at all for us, adventurers. It's a good thing if you are looking for an extra calm and cosy area.
The hostel is very cosy, like a chalet! I loved it so much!

The showers are in the dorm room which can be annoying if people shower at extreme times, bu thankfully wasnt a problem
Lovely hostel, brilliant vibe with lots of other backpackers and hikers. Really friendly and sweet owner who was willing to help out so much Very tidy and clean Really nice communal kitchen. Great value for money The highlight of my time in Georgia

Nothing that I remember. It was a pleasant stay.
I was very welcomed by the owner of the place. The room is warm and comfortable. Hot shower and clean facilities. I recommend it!

The owner is really nice! The room is very big and clean. The bed is very comfy and it feels like your own home. Toilets are inside the room and hot water are functioning very well. Everyday the owner will clean the toilet. What i like the most is the kitchen have everything you need! Its a perfect place for you to cook. The host is very welcoming with her happening son!😂

Some might find it a bit of a walk from the main city (about 12 minutes with my backpack) but it wasn’t too bad for me which is why I didn’t take points off the location. Otherwise Kazbegi city area is small and you can walk most anywhere.
I’ll start with the incredible hosts who treated us more like family/friends. They were around if you needed them but also gave you enough space to mingle freely with fellow travelers. They are super generous with their time and kindness and I have nothing but love, respect and admiration for them. They have a big kitchen, dinning area where everyone cooked, ate and got to know each other. Some hostel environments just encourage social mingling and this is one of them. The big dog who loves cuddles and the cat that hides in the strangest places were an added bonus. I met some amazing people here and some of us even landed up traveling together to other parts of Georgia. I’m forever grateful to the family. Oh and if you want to visit some sites like Juta, ask the hosts first - they give better rates and a more personal experience than the agencies.

Very nice hostel with hospitable owners and friendly guests. All amenities exists, shops in a walking distance, hiking trails around. Had a good time here

Enjoyed everything
Nice view and a very friendly family running this place. The vibe was very cozy and laid back. In the morning i enjoyed the nice scenery whit a cup of coffee. A lot of value for money. I lived in the 8 bed dorm and there are some curtains for privacy and very nice beds

Great location and view. Very good facilities with individual electrical access, lamp and curtains on dorm beds. Very good shared kitchen facilities and utensils. Breathtaking view from the balcony. Staff very friendly and helpful. Overall one of the best hostels I have found anywhere.

It wasn't possible to properly flush the toilet paper in the toilet, which was not communicated to me beforehand.
The hostel was super cozy with a lovely house lady and it was super easy to socialize with others. The room and the bed was clean and thd kitchen was well-equipped.
