Although the bathroom was clean it was smelly.

The host Ina is the best host I could have, she was very nice and could provide me one night before my check-in date as I arrived one night before even it wasn't available on booking. Everyday she went to the room to check what needed to be cleaned and changed. Her family lives there and she shares her kitchen with the guests. The location is great very close to the bus station. Don't expect luxury but a nice stay. I recommend it and would stay again. As her family lives there just be nice ans respectful to them.

HQ of Nove Sujashvili is a cozy spot with a lovely family. There are two dorm rooms, each with attached bathrooms. Plus a little hangout space and balcony. Everything is kept very clean. You share the downstairs kitchen with the family so there are tons of cooking amenities. The hostel is 10 minutes from the center of Kazbegi. It's a pretty quick walk (a little trying with bags given the elevation). FYI that almost all services and cafes are in Kazbegi. The beautiful views from the hostel can't be beat. The owner is very nice and accommodating to schedules and needs. She even drove me to the van in Kazbegi. I know she also offers breakfast. You're sure to meet fellow travelers here. Highly recommended if you don't require a real hotel and are happy to live with a family.

wifi does not reach the room so everyone gathers in the common area for wifi.

host is very friendly and welcoming. although toilet was basic, a mop was provided for guests to easily keep the floor dry. toilet was shared within the dorm, and not among all dorms, so it was not a long wait and able to negotiate toilet use with other guests. location is easy walk from the town centre. power sockets easily accessible for most beds.

Nothing. This place is literally perfect

I was there one year ago and liked it so much that I came back to the same place! It’s located on a hill overlooking the whole city and that big, majestic wall of Caucasus mountains which you can admire from the balcony. That balcony is also perfect to meet other travelers and find hiking buddies. You can’t find another place like that for this price! The rooms are comfortable and always kept clean, plus there’s a bathroom in both of them. There’s a kitchen with all the amenities that you need and a place to store your food. The distance to all the shops, banks, rental places, restaurants etc is within 15 mins walking. And the owners are incredible! Every time I was there I felt very welcome and taken care of, and they were always ready to help (even when I went to the mountains for 3 days, foolishly forgot to book a night after I was back and the hostel was full). I will be definitely coming back!

11/10 this was my favorite place to stay in Georgia, and I've had a lot of great experiences. It has a nice outdoor space where you can share a beer with your fellow hikers after a day out and I met a lot of lovely people here. But what makes this place special is the host. Ina makes you feel at home and she genuinely cares about her guests. She also shared her knowledge about cooking and her experience living in Georgia with us. Thank you Ina for the lovely time, and as the ultimate German compliment goes: "ich kann mich nicht beschweren" (I can't complain) and I hope I will be back some day!

Location is perfect, with a view over the village surrounded by the mountains. The place is clean, dorm is comfy and you can use the spacious kitchen for your cooking. But most of all, it just feels like being at a friend's place. Ina and family are really sweet and welcoming. I would definitely recommend staying there.

Everything. It was the most beautiful stay in Georgia for me. Ina, the hostess, was super nice, helpful and very easy to talk to. There was also a lot of activity with the other guests, which of course could have influenced the stay subjectively. The hostel is also very well located for the hikes towards the glacier.
