Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Agro guesthouse Korena was perfect escape from noisy cities. The host and personal was very friendly, we liked everything in the guesthouse like interior and decorations. We added an extra dinner and food was very delicious, the only thing that wine selcetion was limited to only white house wine and no other option. The breakfast was very nice and we liked it!

FranceMaya is very friendly and welcoming. I would recommend having dinner at her, she cooks everything herself and it's very good ! However you should be hungry because it's a lot ! The room is clean and comfortable. Very well located for both the monastery of gueli and motsamesta.

United Arab EmiratesA great recommendation from a friend of mine. We loved meeting Maya, her team were so kind and took care of us well. We had a truly authentic experience cooking in the masterclass with them next to the fire. I especially loved chilling on the front porch with a sundowner and the view. We loved dining in the old house! The location was great, and we enjoyed hiking to both nearby very special monasteries (Gelati and Motasmeta) both from the guest house.

PolandWe had an incredible stay at this charming family-run guesthouse! From the moment we arrived, the warm and friendly atmosphere made me feel right at home. The idyllic rural location amidst rolling hills provided a breathtaking view (right at the Gelati monastery!)that truly stole our hearts. One of the highlights of our stay was the delectable local cuisine made from natural and fresh ingredients. The flavors were so authentic and rich, it was a true culinary delight. I could tell that they truly cared about using locally sourced products, and that commitment to sustainability impressed us. But what truly made this place stand out was the charisma and personality of the owner, Maya. She went above and beyond to ensure every guest had a memorable experience. From sharing her vast knowledge of the agrotourism through guiding us on the further plans and connect us with the local guides/drivers, Maya has made our trip unforgettable. I can't recommend this guesthouse enough for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in a picturesque setting. The combination of a welcoming family atmosphere, delicious food, and a sustainable approach to the environment makes it a true gem. I'm already looking forward to out next visit!🧡

GermanyUPD: Unfortunately i have to adjust and update my review after the reaction i have received from the host after i have posted my review. I keep my intial review unchanged for the traveller internet community. After i posted my "6" rating review (mostly because of the food poisoning) i got racist outrage messages and insluts towards myself and my family, accusations of lying via private messages in WhatsApp from the host (as is i travelled 3 weeks though the country just to give and everage rating to this property). And just to be clear, we told straight away in the morning that we got a food poisoning from one of the dishes, reply was "it cannot be our fault, it is probably a water or something else". So we gave this feedback in person. No execuse, absolute denial of the problem and insults online afterwards as aftertaste. We were polite and respectful during our stay, paid all our bills and then got this. I am just schocked. Room -1star:smell from canalization in both rooms we had . Food -3 stars because of food poisoning on last dinner : Unfortunately the dinner quality somehow was degrading with the days we spent in the house. First dinner we really liked, second was ok ,but it was compensated by the concert invite and warm talk we had with the host Gigi .3rd dinner we did not like and unfortunately got a food poisoning from one of the meat dishes. It took me 3 days to recover, so the plans we had we had to adjust. I must also say that the "main chef lady "who coocked for us was not working that evening. Maybe it was the reason.
Hosts and the team are very welcoming and kind people. First evening we have received very warm welcome and tasty and very rich dinner (we had the first dinner and breakfast in the wooden house with traditional interior)I do understand the very good ratings from people who stay 1 night. I must also say that host Maya was also very flexible in terms of food options, she was asking what we would like to have and the team would cook it. All other meals for upcoming we had in guest house where the rooms are. After the second dinner we were invited to see and hear the traditional music and songs in the "wooden house" where other groups of tourists had their dinner. It was very warm, friendly and wonderful evening. Thank you a lot for that! We also got chacha and wine as a gift from the hosts "on their account".
