to a road closure caused by snow on the mountain, we had to take a detour that took over 6 hours. When we arrived was 2 am, but the host patiently waited for us and made sure we could check in smoothly.

Beautiful view from the balcony to the historical Rabath and the city of Akhaltsikhe specially at night. Sunny room. Friendly staff. On the ground floor good restaurant with great local food.

Exceeded all expectations! Amazing view to Rabath, comfortable facilities, friendly hosts. Bonus was the restaurant on the first floor, cosy and spicy, with delicious food and view♥️ Definitely recommend and seems great value for money

Steep walk down to other restaurants but could drive down (I have some problem with my leg at the moment).

Good, modern hotel. Large room and good bathroom. Large balcony with stupendous view of the fortress over the road. Easy parking just across the road or in the large fortress carpark. Hotel restaurant but quality of cooking variable.

The half-open shower concept that some other guests complain about in their comments was beyond my comprehension too. It's impossible to shower without flooding the bathroom. The walls are extremely thin – especially while in the bathroom you can hear every word of your neighbours' conversation.

The hotel offers not only the nicest owner but also the best view in town. The Akhaltsikhe fortress is literally just in front of your window – in all its glory, complete with the golden dome of the mosque. The room was clean and comfortable. The owner was one of the nicest people we've met in all of Georgia.

These are just small details, but I didn't like the bathroom - the room description mentioned bath and bathrobe, but there was only shower. that's fine, but the shower didn't have door or any way to close, the corner facing the bathroom was open, so after the shower I had water everywhere in the room. And there was no extra "towel" to put on the ground to dry it.

The hotel is/looks really new and modern, the location and value for the price are great. Staff was very friendly too. I have stayed only for 1 night, so I just needed basic things like bed and shower, which I got. I also liked that the shower had nice smelling shower gel and shampoo bottles. The hotel is situated directly opposite the castle, so you can have nice view from the room (which I unfortunately didn't have, but at least I could see my car parked on the quiet street on the other side)

The hotel isn’t the newest one… some parts of the hotel room (especially in the bathroom) were already worn out…. The food in the restaurant was okaish - the wine wasn’t good at all…

We got a message from the host, that they have some issues with water in the room we booked. Also he called me and asked me to cancel the reservation and told me that he can offer us another room in his other hotel. The cancellation fee was 100% from the booking price. Also when we came, the owner was very rude, he was screaming at my friend, besides we were trying be polite. He intended me to cancel the reservation. And come to his other place. All in all we were very upset because it was 10 pm already and we were tired.
