Too hot without even a fan

Bathroom has no extractor fan and emits a powerful reek.

Host & other guests where interesting. Kitchen had a homey feel.

Smell from the bathroom sometimes enters the dorm, unless the exhaust fan is on... Couldn't find the switch for it myself - otherwise, nothing at all to complain about

Very relaxed atmosphere, creative & compassionate hosts (& guests also... ), located super conveniently to everything you want to see in the city centre... Extra bonus, three (!) awesome friendly cats live there; if you are lucky, they'll cuddle up to you, at least they will entertain you with playfulness

There was no reception in hostel and smell was awful. I waited them for 30 minutes, i called them but nobody answered Phone. Looks like abondoned.

I really appreciate that the hostel is taking care about the cats. They look friendly and happy there. Hostel has everything you need. The owner was nice and ready to help. Good price. Will come back.

The old building get damage in the winter storm so They will need help and donation to fix it and put good heating. Ɓefore booking contact first to see if they can satisfied you. Mother russia make breakfast for me and we all sit and eat together romanticly while engaging in hot conversations. I did agree with mother russia that he is getting to old to be playing playstation games to much.

The host is kind and very helpfull he will be there for you if you need help so good people yes

Ivan and the cats are a fantastic team to make you feel welcome. The beds are very comfy, the location is great, they have lockers and the hostel is very well equipped. 100% recommended

Not proerly clean and no ventilation and air conditioning even no fans and kitchen is small and not cleaned properly needs to be add more instructions in big everywhere in rooms where it needs

A very small room with too many people in it and not enough space for personal things. There's no AC and only a very small window in the room so it was hot and with many people in the room there was no air. No ventilation in the bathroom so it always smelled.

Good location and one of the cheapest places in Batumi. The cats were very friendly. The owner was nice, friendly and helpful and the atmosphere there was very chill.

Comfort-it’s definitely not about that place. Cleanliness-also not a right word if we are talking about that hostel. I came late night, booked that hostel in advance. It was said: cats and comfortable place to sleep. All right. Wet towel, smelling like, eeemmmm, old wet towel and wet bed sheets. In the washing room I also didn’t see anything too clean. It was a room with 6 beds. No AC! On upper level it was crazy hot and wet! And some guests for some reasons decided to have a morning news session on their loudspeakers in wonderful Arabic language right next to the only window to the room. 07.54am. Local stuff never intervened with any of them, so it was morning full of hot, not beautifully smelling air, Arabic news in a full loud and wetness. After all of course I decided to change my place but before leaving I wanted at least to see the cats. Local guy instead to show them said: they are in administration room. And it’s locked. Top-3 of my worst experiences during my travelling time.

The place is in a terrible state, this isn't a hostel...its full of permanent guests, the rooms are filled with trash and clothes spewn about everywhere. The mattresses are also filthy, I saw bugs crawling around and decided to leave after 30 minutes. I feel bad for the cats having to live in such conditions, let alone the human inhabitants.

Owner was friendly, and there are indeed many cats around.

If you want a warm and friendly place, this is it. Comfort? Not so much. I stayed for two nights and felt right at home. Even if I were a billionaire, I’d still stay here

Lots of long term stayers so not a hostel vibe. Place was dirty and smelled bad. Asked multiple times for bed sheets, staff didn’t seem occupied but only provided bed sheets late at night (and had to make bed myself).

Not much too like. As the photos are the best part of the property…. The place smelled and the beds looked like they had seen better days. There was no vibe. The cats were cute but I felt sorry for them.
