How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The walkway was a little slippery, we slipped a couple of times 😅 but otherwise, it was perfect.
The place was awesome, the view was magical, and the apartment was huge for six of us! The staff were amazing and so helpful. We'll definitely go back when we're in Kazbegi.

The view was incredible from appartment Nikolo ! This is hands down the best place to stay in Kazbegi if you are with a group. The house was very spacious and fully equipped with everything we needed, making it ideal for groups of five or more. You really can’t find a better value for money at this destination. On top of that, the hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating.

The house is in the best location in the town. From the terrace of the house, one can see the magnificent snow-capped mountains. The scenery is unrivaled. The landlord is very enthusiastic and the facilities in the house are comprehensive. It is very suitable for families and teams to take a vacation. Highly recommend this place.

The house is great and very comfortable, large rooms, kitchen and living room. The view is stunning and it has multiple balcony views. The price was fair.

Every thing was just great.
Our stay at Apartment Nikalo in Stepantsminda was truly delightful and memorable. Nestled amidst the stunning landscapes of Georgia, this cozy apartment offered a perfect blend of comfort and serenity. The apartment itself was charming and well-appointed. It was clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere. The large deck allowed us to enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, creating a picturesque backdrop throughout our stay. The amenities in the apartment were excellent. The kitchen was fully equipped, allowing us to prepare our own meals and enjoy them in the dining area with ease. The beds were comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after days filled with exploration. Nino and her husband were incredibly hospitable and accommodating. Before our arrival late in the evening, Nino's husband went out of his way to purchase a list of groceries and fruits that we had requested. He even offered us milk from his farm, which was a lovely touch of local hospitality. The location of the apartment was ideal for exploring the beauty of Stepantsminda. It was conveniently close to attractions such as Gergeti Trinity Church and the Kazbegi National Park, allowing us to easily venture out for hikes and sightseeing. In conclusion, our stay at Apartment Nikalo was a highlight of our trip to Georgia. The combination of its cozy ambiance, spectacular views, and the generous hospitality of Nino and her husband made it a truly unforgettable experience. I highly recommend Apartment Nikalo to anyone visiting Stepantsminda and looking for a comfortable and scenic retreat.

Never relaxed more at any place like this. Photos in booking are real, but reality was better. May be the best view in Stepantsminda. From the first hour, I tried to extend our stay for two days more, but unfortunately, it was booked.

Nothing to complain.
To our surprise, the location is excellent which in our opinion is better than the location of Rooms Hotel. Each room has its own bathroom and the sitting room provides a beautiful view. We really enjoyed the stay and would like to stay longer.

Laundry machine, kitchen, beds, heating systems..... Wonderful views..... Owner lady, she sent to me when I dropped my smart watch at room. She sent it to my next hotel. It's not easy, but she did!! .

We got the entire 5 room apartment, but 2 rooms were locked. The host apartment was just next to us. Someone (probably, the host's spouse) fried fish in our house so their house won't stink. Our house stinked for 2 days and we could not stay in the living room. Although it was not cheap accommodation, everything was minimal. Some toilets were broken, minimal soap and kitchen facilities, no coffee at all, and there wasn't anyhing to make you feel comfy in the house.
It was a big and private house. There was a wonderful view of a snowy mountain in August. There was a bathroom in every room.
