Everything! For starters the owner was very kind and helpful as well as flexible when it came out check in and check-out time. Place has amazing view! But the best part was that is was really, really clean and everything was put in order :) Kitchen was well equipped so if you'd rather prepare your own food this is perfect! And kitchen is huge :)

Very friendly and flexible hosts, modern, comfy, and super clean room, well equipped kitchen to prepare your own meals, plus it’s in a quiet, nice neighborhood next to the Gergeti Church/Glacier trails. Plus, they arranged hazle-free 4x4 transfers for us to other trail heads in the area. For us this place has been the perfect base for hiking in Kazbegi and we hope to be able to return someday! The host was very helpful and the room was so clean and neat! View from the kitchen was outstanding! Its on a uphill so recommend for the guests with car. Quite and peaceful stay! Highly recommend!

Very bad soundproof, I hear every step in the hous, every word in the neighborhood room. Also it's a bit unclear how to check in, I just met a woman that was also a host. But some guys came late and also didn't know how to check in, wre loudly walking and looking for the hosts (again bad soundproof made me woke up)

Exellent location for those who what to hike on Kazbegi. Clean room and kitchen, polite host, all basic facilities on place. Have a situation: once I was resting in the room and didn't close the door one tourist just open the door and then closed. Then in the evening the host came to me in person and politely apologized for that, also he said that he cancelled the booking of that guys because of unproper behavior.

Exceptionally kind host, with the warmest family. I enjoyed watching them work on their garden together every morning. You have 2 grocery stores 10 meters away. And if you need to go off-roading to Juta village or the waterfalls, the owner’s brother can take you there for cheap

No cabs available to get to the bus station. Accessibility is something to be worked upon.

The mountain view from the room is to die for. Nicholas is a friendly host.They were flexible with the requests we made.They have a common living area with a modular kitchen and dining area to cook and eat. The rooms are well kept and clean.There is also a small store right in front of the place for groceries needed. Overall a great deal!

This guesthouse is new. Everything is brand new. There is plenty of space in rooms. The kitchen and everything for cooking are available, even washing machines. Perfectly stationed, in Gergeti village, not far away from the starting point of the walking trail. The owner is friendly and helpful.

Everything about this guesthouse was amazing. The quiet beautiful location, everything is new, spacious rooms, well kept and super clean, friendly and always available staff (English speaking!), super comfortable beds, big and well-equiped kitchen, washing machine available, parking at the property... We are really happy of our stay at Polaris, hard to beat when it comes to accomodation. Also, great value for money. What a lovely family and place to stay, thank you!!

Newly renovated, nice room. I really liked the location, close to rhe Kazbegi monestary (a 10-15 minute walk from the center). Right next-door are two mini-markets. Great kitchen. The owner was friendly and speaks a bit English.

The doors are thin so we heard other guests unloading their car and talking loudly at night. The shower is not separated from the rest of the bathroom meaning the whole bathroom is wet after showering.

Kind host, really new and clean feel to the room. Located between Kazbegi and the church - good for our hike. Clean, well equipped and spacious shared kitchen. Very comfortable bed. Incredibly cheap.

Really everything excellent. Just some small suggestions: bedside lamps and a bit more hooks/wardrobes in the bedrooms would be useful.

The property is a apartment with 4 big bedrooms,3 upstairs and 1 downstairs, the latter only a bit penalised in views as the windows open on the downstairs patio. The kitchen is huge, with new and modern furniture and good availability of cutlery and cooking gear (missing a colander). There is no dishwasher,which we missed, but overall no complains The living room/entrance has a tv and sofas. Each bedroom has its own new bathroom with good pressure and hot water. They are wet bathrooms: if you take a shower water goes everywhere inside the bathroom. The heating was high and the whole apartment really warm and cosy. It is really a very good situation, clean, comfortable and new. The owner was very helpful in everything and in particular let us run some very needed washing cycles with his washing machine, arranged horses for us when we wanted to go camping and was always available for our needs. The apartment is in Gergeti, some meters higher up vs stepantsminda so it would be a walk to go down by foot (and come back up!). With a car the location is perfect to explore Gergeti trinity church and in general the whole Kazbegi. There is a mini market close by for any emergencies
