There is a pothole ridden road leading up to the hotel, no decent parking space and if you park in front of the hotel to unload your luggage entrance, you'll block off the whole road so have to quickly leave and park elsewhere. There is however a decent bit of space outside the hotel. Also, the hotel is at least 20 steps down and 50 steps away from the road you have to walk a tiny bit, but they have ramp to roll the luggage on. The family room skylight can't be blacked out. So, you are going to be woken up really early if the sun rises early. So, use eye mask to sleep. The family rooms were at -1 level, and there was no elevator, but they had a bell boy to help with the luggage. The swimming pool is small, but decent sized, so don't expect to be doing freestyle from end to end. It's more for the relaxing and looking out through the windows. There is also a sauna although the charge to use it is 70 lari for 1 hour for the whole sauna. Ridiculous.

We booked a family room which had somehow happened to be only 5GBP costlier than the standard room, so why not. There was indoor swimming pool which had just the perfect temperature, so I loved it. The balcony at the front is shared with all other family rooms, so keep the curtains closed. The restaurant is great. The food at dinner, and for breakfast buffet was great as well.

We enjoyed our stay at step Inn, our room was so warm even during the extreme cold weather of February, our balcony had a great view, breakfast had many options, but sometimes our dishes took too long to prepare. The best thing about this hotel was the in door pool which was heated to a perfect temperature, which allowed us to enjoy the view of the snowy mountains while we bathed in warm water. It's a bit of a walk to reach the shops and the spar supermarket but the hotel provided us with a taxi that can take us up and down the hill for a good price.

The hotel is far from supermarket and the central, every time you need to order taxi. And this area Yango doesn’t work and Bolt charges 27 Lari for every ride ! Like 1.5km

We truly enjoyed our stay at Step Inn Kazbegi. Staff was most helpful and everything was done to accomodate our stay. We were the only quests during the first night and the breakfast buffe really surprised us the next morning. I’ll add a picture of it to prrove it ;) And views to the mountain are just unbelivae!

The swimming pool was a bit small, there were Georgian parties with very loud music. The sauna is extra payment for some reason. No proper parking spot, bell-boy couldn't assist with luggage.

The restaurant was a disappointment. The food was okay, but lots of positions in the menu were absent. The waiting time of bringing at least beverages was extremely high, so the huge minus was feeling of unprofessionalism of staff. We came to this hotel for our family member’s birthday, but we have had to choose the restaurant in another hotel to celebrate. Also a big disappointment was very small pool which could have been just a hot tube.

The hotel is brand new, staff is very friendly and helpful. Exceptional view from each room!
