“The place is very big, with two bedrooms with double beds. There is fully equipped kitchen. The host was very kind, she has beautiful garden that you can observe from the terrace. Reaching the place can be tricky a liitle bit the first time, because you should turn left while climbing very steep road and right when you turn, the road start to descent. It is something like a village, so expect roosters early in the morning or even in 3:00 during the night.”

“Clean and comfortable room. Easy check-in and checkout process. Friendly and flexible host who allowed us to check in already at 11am. The area is calm in an idyllic mountain setting with beautiful views. A car is an absolute must to reach the house.
The road to reach the house is extremely steep but manageable.”

“Very nice house with beautiful rainforest near by, but also very close to Deshaies. Amazing plants, trees and many chicken and roosters. The house has comfortable beds and a nice veranda from which one can look at the rainforest. The owner Bruno has a shop close by. Nice place to stay.”
“I wasn’t expecting too much, having read previous reviews. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are a little dated but not terrible & the setting around the pool is delightful. We up-graded to a larger room with a very spacious balcony. This made all the difference. We were offered clean towels /sheets during our 6 night stay. Sufficient utensils in the kitchen to self cater. Microwave, toaster, coffee machine, hob + large fridge/freezer. However come prepared as no shops/supermarkets in immediate vicinity. A/c in bedroom & ceiling fans elsewhere. Wi-Fi a bit sketchy but ok once on balcony. The restaurant was closed during our stay, cook was ill, so only 1 choice of restaurant in the evening within walking distance (2 others were closed ). Good parking. Plenty of eating choices in Deshaies, c10/12 min drive. Car is essential to get around. All the staff were very friendly & helpful.”
