Lovely hotel. The rooftop terrace is amazing! The room was clean, decent size, lovely shower. It's about as close to the Acropolis as you can get. Staff were brilliant. All friendly and helpful.

Absolutely magnificent view of Acropolis. I have taught World History for 30 years and always wanted to visit Athens. When students saw our pictures from our balcony and roof-top patio of Parthenon … they didn’t believe school teachers could stay in such a wonderful hotel. We are coming back to Acropolis View Hotel!!!

One of the rooms had two twin beds that were a little narrow and short for my adult son and adult grandson. The other room had two twin beds that were regular-size for myself and my adult granddaughter.

Excellent view of Acropoli from the rooftop. The breakfast served on the rooftop was delicious and various (sweet and salty alternatives) with fresh ingredients. The location of the hotel offers the advantage of reaching easily the main attractions without finding the crowd of the turist near the hotel. The staff gave us very good advices about the restaurants.

Nothing major to complain. It would be nice to have a stopper with beds; they moved around very easily.

Reception staff were very helpful and welcoming. Perfect location. Room was cozy and clean. The building itself looked aged but quite well maintained. The view from rooftop was fantastic. Very nice breakfast.

Bedroom and Bathroom too small. We were in 4th floor, 5th floor is the rooftop. Each morning right before 6am, We are awaken by the sounds of chairs and tables being dragged across the floor, we are assuming employees are getting the rooftop ready for breakfast. I just hope there is better noise insulaton

Rooms were small but this is Europe!

The location was perfect - right by the acropolis but on a quiet side street. Close to everything you’d want to see, we were able to walk everywhere. The rooms were very small but clean and comfortable otherwise. The main draw for this hotel is the rooftop, which was a total surprise - breakfast served every morning on the rooftop with incredible views of the acropolis and the city. This alone made it worth every penny.

Do I need to write something? Very small things like a shoehorn and why only one place storing a bag when it is a double room. Good if you don't need to use the table.

First the staff, Tip making every walk and dinner an experience. Then, of course, the location. Close to almost everything.

There were sometimes people talking loudly in the hallway which is more of a them problem than a hotel problem but it wasn't often enough to really bother me. So do note the doors aren't super noise blocking. Not so much to dislike to be fair. It's not a luxury hotel so you shouldn't expect it to be.

View from the room wasn't great but we were only on the first floor and we didn't spend much time there anyway. The roof top view on the other hand was fabulous and you could go up there whenever you liked. The beds were comfortable, and I'm picky about beds! The rooms have a few built in USB charging ports which is very handy, so if you do forget your charging plug, you'll be fine! The breakfast set up wasn't big but there was still variety (pastry, cereals, breads, yoghurts, salad, boiled egg, fresh orange juice and more. It was good enough to set you up for the day. I have to say the breakfast ladies were super lovely! I always tried to say thank you to them after each meal. All the staff were wonderful. Unfortunately I forgot to get the names of them but the two gentleman we often saw at reception were so friendly and helpful. The one who checked us in gave us a map, plotting sites and offered restaurant recommendations as well. Location was fantastic. 3 mins to the Acropolis which is on a lovely promenade you can walk through. 15 mins to the centre (Monastiraki, Syntagma). We walked pretty much everywhere. Only taking a taxi to Lycabettus Hill - a 15mins journey about 10 euros. It is about an hour from the Airport - Taxi fare was about 47-50 Euros one way.

Amazing view of Acropolis from both the roof and the room we got! Really good value for money. Roof was great we loved to spend evenings there. Walking distance to all major attractions and restaurants. Staff was really attentive and helpful. Great variety for breakfast. Would definitely recommend staying here.

There was nothing we disliked.

The location is superb, with a wonderful close up view of the Parthenon from the roof terrace. We arrived at midnight, and it was quite magical to see it all lit up, so close! The hotel staff were all very helpful. The bedroom and bathroom were a good size. The beds were comfortable, not too firm, and the duvet was lightweight - just right! The breakfast buffet was amazing, with a wide choice of food.
