The room was spacious and the bathroom layout is greatly designed; two people can easily use facilities without feeling cramped. Beds were incredibly comfortable and there was no issue with sound when sleeping! Location was ideal for connectivity in Thessaloniki and in general, Aegean Hotel is a value for money option (even exceeding that!)

it’s a fake 3-star hotel (or a “luxurious” 2-star). Breakfast was the legal minimum with low quality products. Quite noisy at night because other people in the building put loud music - the rooms are close each other and the walls are sh*tty. Wifi did not work properly.

The staff was very kind. Location was good ( the hotel is on one of the main streets of the city) However, only positive aspect was the price.

Hotel doesn't have it own parking place, there was an private parking which was with discount for hotels guests 12 euro and than parking place ask for 15 euro. It was not fair.

Miscommunication about the car park. It was communicated as available to the hotel but it turned out that it is a third party car park with extra payment. Very disappointing!

Bad location for traveling with a car, very stressful check-in and minimum assistance from staff. They were polite, just not helpful. Turned out parking was 20 EUR/day, not 15 as advertised. Apparently big cars cost more. Room was same size as in charter vacation with my parents in the 1980ies, smallest room I have seen in 20 years (I work with tourism). TV probably 20 years old (never mind that, we were not there to watch TV). Slow, but acceptable and free Wifi. Very basic breakfast dissapointed after having great breakfast in North Makedonia and Albania. Other guests were making noise with furniture in a room above us that made it difficult to sleep. Running children in the corridor slamming doors till 4:30 am. Not great when you have a 10 hour drive ahead on the net day.

Location was good, close to the water and entertainment district. Main reason for choosing this hotel.

Hotel is in desperate need for renovation, as the furniture is old. The carpet needs cleaning urgently as it smells. There should be mosquito nets in the windows since there are lot of them. Breakfast is bare minimal, I have never not encountered poorer breakfast in a hotel. It appears like the owners have decided to just reap the income from accommodation with not a single cent to invest in upgrading the hotel.

The bathroom CURTAIN IS AWFUL!!! WATER COMES OUT WHEN YOU BATHE and made the bathroom flooded and wet and slippery and kind of dangerous 😔😔

Egnatia street is the main street in thessaloniki, so if you choose this hotel, you will smell the stench from the exhausts. Our room was oriented to the other side from Egnatia so we had good air.

The stay was an absolute nightmare, the floors was sticky and dirty the sheet covers had oily stains and on top of it I found a joint in one of the drawers. I reported the issue at reception but seemed like no one cared at reception! Definitely would not recommend.

the reception lady was very impolite, at check in she picked up phone calls instead of hurrying up to give us the room, in the first morning, because we stayed on the first floor ( the restaurant was there) from 7 am we woke up because we heard all the dishes so the walls are thick and you can’t sleap in this conditions on that floor, the room looked like a storage closet, very small with little room to pass beside the bed, no view from the window, it had an old tv, a fridge that barely chilled the drinks, the hotel didn’t provide slippers and the list could go on. Also none of the other staff that we encounter on our stay, didn’t even salute us when we entered or left the hotel.
