Though I had the misfortune to come at exactly the same time as some rare bad weather hit the island, this was a great hotel to stay in and wait for the clouds to pass. The room was clean, modern and comfortable. The mattress was so nice I slept for 9 hours straight on both nights- almost unheard of for me. The lady who owned the hotel was incredibly sweet and helpful. I would definitely stay again and recommend. All the rooms looked nice but I think I might have had the best one, upstairs on the corner with a balcony facing the sea on one side and the morning sun on the other (room 1 I think) It was the beginning of the season so lots of restaurants and bars were still closed on the island. That said, there were a few nice places to eat still, including the bar/restaurant right on the port in Meagalochori (whose name escapes me) where I had super fresh calamari and Greek salad after a day cycling in the hills. Agistri is a really beautiful island and a manageable size for walkers and cyclists. Hire a bike or an E-bike and you’ll see everything. When the sun eventually came out I cycled to Limenaria and down to the beautiful Mariza beach, ( which is more of a jumping off point than a beach but absolutely stunning). I plan to go back as I didn’t have the best luck with the weather, but it was always a risk to come in April. If I do the Hotel Alexandra would be my first choice to stay in.

Everything! The owner is the friendliest person! She and her mother were so nice to me. The room was amazing. The view was the best part as well. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had wonderful water pressure. The location is less than a five minute walk from the Skala ferry port and everything is walkable. I was there in the off season so not much was open but what was great and everyone was nice.

This hotel should have more than two stars. Location excellent, just 3 minute walk from the ferry. The room was superb. Bed was super comfortable and the pillows are excellent. And the cleanliness is immaculate. I've stayed in 5 star hotels that aren't as clean as hotel Alexandra. We loved our stay.

The pool was a bit chilly ( but the sea was warm so no real need to use the pool). The additional of a few pieces of basic crockery and cutlery to have enable us to buy in fruit and yoghurt etc for our own snacks on the balcony would have been the icing on the cake. However, this was a hotel room rather than an apartment so it is what it is.

A full-length mirror can be added to the room, there is plenty of space for it! In general, pictures are showing bigger size than real ones: while room was still spacious and great, pool was more a kid size. I haven't used the beach in front of the hotel because of other guests habits to take the sunbeds up from the night before (!).

I had a great stay in Alexandra hotel. The owner was really welcoming. The hotel is in front of the sea, with a terrace and a good restaurant. It is in a quiet but convenient location, at 5 mins walking distance from both Skala port and the center of the village - where you can also take the bus to the beaches of Dragonera and Aponisos. I was in 2-floor modern, comfortable and clean room, on the pool side, with well working and smartly located air conditioning. ; wi-fi also good.

Loved the staff! the owner is sweet, speaks perfect english, she was always there for us. The room was super comfy and clean, amazing sea view. we loved the sitting area in the front - for breakfast and for chillin' with coffee or drinks all through the day.

It was all perfect

The hotel is in a great location as it's right on the beach but also away from the road. The room we had was overlooking the swimming pool with a view of the sea and the hills. It was quiet and very pretty. The room is well furnished and really well designed with a mezzanine floor. The owner of the hotel is very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant which overlooks the sea is really good. The beach is a beautiful bay and you only have to go a few steps from the sunbeds to the water.
