The facilities are a bit dated - but still clean, comfortable, and we would definitely stay again!

The staff at Apanemo is phenomenal and was definitely the highlight of our stay. From the moment we landed at the airport (the hotel had arranged transfer for us) until the moment we left (we also arranged transfer to our next destination through the hotel), every single person was the definition of hospitality - friendly, helpful, always looking to make our stay better. Special thank you to Dimitra for helping us find and book a fantastic sunset catamaran cruise last minute + dinner reservations, Nikos for providing us with multiple transfers to/from various locations around the island, and Alex for brightening our day every morning (and practicing her Chinese with us!) The view from our room was also incredible.

Everything: the staff was friendfly and helpful, the location was perfect because we didn't have to walk through stairs or long ways with our suitcases and it was perfect to take the bus to the other cities. The pool is amazing and there are amazing views from all rooms. The breakfast was incredible.

We enjoyed everything!

We had an amazing stay at apanemo. From the moment we arrived they were incredibly welcoming and helpful. We had a lovely arrival drink and small dessert waiting for us whilst they had a little chat with us to make sure they could help us organise any activities or trips we would like to do, aswell as how they could make our stay as comfortable as possible. Excellent service as well as very good knowledge of all the activities on the island. Amazing views and very nice infinity pool to enjoy it. The breakfast was also excellent. You select everything you want on a card, which had a very extensive selection! Everything is cooked fresh too so it is much better than a buffet that most hotels offer. Location is a little remote, but they are very happy to take you anywhere in the local area and have lots of great recommendations for nice restaurants. It was definitely nice to be away from the manic crowds of fira and oia. The local bus takes you anywhere on the island for very cheap too (€1.80). Overall, an excellent hotel and incredible stay. I would say the genuine friendlyness of all the staff and their enthusiasm to make our stay as nice as possible was really what made us love this place so much.

Everything was so good you can’t even come up with anything bad. If the pool was heated I could come back even in winter - maybe that’s the one and only thing that could be improved <3

The place is STUNNING and the pictures are not even showing it’s full beauty! The staff is so friendly, caring - it’s like having birthday every day :) Breakfast was amazing, we loved all the choices and quality of the food Quiet place away from the crowd, has a very luxurious but family-like energy. We will come back and recommend!

The pools are not heated and it’s a little cold to swim after 4:00PM at least in June. Wi-Fi needs some improvement.

One of the most beautiful hotels I’ve stayed in. From the view of the Caldera, to the pools, to the amazing view from the breakfast area. They welcome you with a choice of drink and reccommendations for the area. The balcony from our room was very spacious and had an amazing view. Room and bathroom size was a nice suprise. The housekeeping did a great job with how clean everything was from the facilities to our room, bathrobes and towels that were changed constantly. Special thanks to Isabel who was very attentive and sweet. Area is on the quiet side but there are a couple taverns nearby with beautiful views and great food. The lighthouse is 10 min drive away, we rented a bike and loved exploring the area. Highly recommend !

Our private terrace (and many of the others that we could see) was very exposed to the sun. A fixed awning/parasol of some sort would have been a good idea though it might be vulnerable to a strong gust of wind.

Spacious room with huge bathroom (His and Her showers!). Nicely designed and well maintained common parts. Pleasant breakfast terrace.

Our visit was in late October when the temperatures drop at night, especially as wind blows across the lake. So it was unfortunate that our rooms didn't have any heating option. After a warm, sunny day, we spent the evening and night huddled under sheets and wearing a sweater indoors. We also had a problem with hot water on the first day, which compounded this as well. So take along warm clothing if you travel in late autumn or winter.

This hotel in Akrotiri village of Santorini offers amazing views of the caldera lake. From the balcony in the breakfast area, you can even see the eastern sky - so it's possible to view both the famous Santorini sunsets and sunrises. Apart from this, it was a decent place to stay. Our spacious room had windows that face the lake and volcano island. Across the caldera in the distance, we could see the opposite coast. Breakfast at the restaurant was delicious and featured some traditional Greek dishes we could sample.

We had a room where the bed was up in a loft (dome shaped roof). The MAJOR problem is that the center of the room where the bed was had a ceiling just a little over 5 feet tall! On the sides of the room it was only 4 feet tall (which is where the stairs are. So as we approached the top of the stairs we had to crawl on our hands and knees to get into the loft and climb into bed. Unfortunately I’m 6’ tall and 59 years old crawling into bed. The room is rustic and extremely old. The windows/shutters have been painted over so many times that they didn’t want to close easily. The couch in the main space is made out of formed concrete or stone with a thin pad on top to sit on. The pool is NOT heated as advertised. In October it was way too cold for anybody to go in. They really should not advertise that it is heated. Hopefully they will remove that as it’s unfair to guests coming in the cooler months.

It has the most incredible views I’ve ever seen and the staff was absolutely amazing. They will drive you to local spots and pick you up later.
