Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

KuwaitI had a lovely stay at the Astor Hotel in Athens! The hotel was beautifully decorated and had such a nice, welcoming atmosphere. The location was absolutely perfect—right in the heart of everything, making it super easy to explore the city. The staff were always friendly, warm, and incredibly helpful throughout my stay. The only small downside was the size of the room—it was a bit compact—but it was very clean and well maintained, so it didn’t take away from the overall experience. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a convenient and charming place to stay in Athens!

United StatesI can not say I didnt like, but is like small sugestion - about breakfest. I think 22 eur to pay extra per person is little to much. Its not very comfortable for couple (like us) because me I dont eat breakfests, my husband do. So to go alone in the morning enjoy breakfest my husband didnt want, me to pay 22 eur to drink only coffee and maximum take one toast I see is a lot. So I see the price will be good like 10 - 12 eur per person, so couple can enjoy together and if one of them drink only coffee is ok to give 10 - 12 eur. Or put price up per night and put breakfest included. Honestly hotel like ASTOR I thing breakfest must be included, when you charge extra is sound little cheap!
Hotel is renovated, clean, location is perfect and comfortable, near all shops and all nessesary locations. Staff very friendly and helpfull.

CyprusWe were provided with two single beds, and upon requesting a double bed, we were informed that the hotel does not offer double beds at all. Additionally, staying on a high floor posed challenges, as we occasionally waited up to 15 minutes for the elevator. As a result, we opted to use the stairs each morning.

UkraineSome of the rooms are facing the wall or the backyard, watch out for that. As to the front view - the mornings in Athens get very noisy, e.g. glass bottles and trash collection trucks will not let you sleep well and long.
A nice hotel located very closely to the old town, the shopping street, surrounded by lots of cafes, bars and restaurants. A lovely rooftop terrace.

GeorgiaThe hotel disappointed us a lot. The staff is unfriendly and ignores your requests. For 2 out of 4 days, we asked for a bathrobe, which was hardly brought to us. And then I left in such a way that the belts of the coat were not worth it. Asking for a wine opener was another problem: we didn't have one They called to bring it back now. The service was very poor for a four star hotel.

United KingdomThe cups for having a hot drink out of were cardboard which was fine but they were not replaced everyday and due to the cardboard nature, you couldn't re-use them. So, whilst there is a coffee machine and a kettle, there was nothing with which to drink any drinks from. Only had one free bottle of water in the fridge on the first day and the coffee sachets were not topped up each day. We couldn't check in until 3.30pm which seemed quite late.
View was amazing as we could see the acropolis from the room. The roof top bar was also amazing. It is a pity the weather wasn't better as we would have spent more time on the terrace admiring the view. The beds were really comfortable and the towels were lovely and fluffy. Location was great - right near bars, restaurants and shops. The staff were really helpful and friendly.

Turkey-room entrance RFID cards do not work / gets corrupted easily due to any contact to phone or other cards in the wallet. -bathroom was not very clean -shower area is not divided well, water spills around. -shower head is not the best. -inner view windows are blurred and the do not open.
-Great location! Walking distance to Ermou Street and Syntagma Square (Metro to Airport) -We arrived around 11am and we could check-in earlier. -Very friendly and helpful staff! -Luggage storage is offered. -Good TV unit.

GreeceThe rooftop bar is open for drinks and snacks from 12.00pm. But the room is quite sterile with very little decoration and lacking in charm and character. The view is wonderful and the drinks are not overpriced in my opinion but we were the only customers there which is a shame for such a great place.
Very comfortable bed, good shower and great breakfast with lots of choice. The hotel itself is very clean and comfortable and in an excellent location for sightseeing. We loved our stay here.
