We loved the quiet location, but for a family I feel a car is necessary. We had a car and found it perfect.

The only suggestion would be to have blackout blinds in the rooms as was very bright in the morning.

Breakfast was great, the whole suite was spacious, modern and very well equipped. Had all the feeling of a boutique hotel at a fabulous price. Lovely pool area plus a private plunge pool also ! A real gem 💎

It’s the first time I travel and the hotel actually looks like the pictures online. The staff was so friendly! They were always available at any time. Breakfast was really good and the pool was amazing. Big room too so perfect if you are 3.

Furthermore, the convenience of arranging a rental car and transfers through their assistance was the cherry on top. It made exploring the island's enchantments a breeze. Last but not least, their suggestion for local places and catamaran experience made our vacation unforgettable!

About the stay - extremely spacious, clean, calming and most importantly, very comfortable rooms and furniture. I also loved their breakfast spread, I’m vegan and hence giving them a prior notice was helpful. About the staff - I travelled solo and was extremely scared at first about the safety, food, etc, but Panos (who runs AVAL) put me at complete ease with a warm welcome. He was kind enough to provide me an early check-in given my flight schedule and assisted me with the bus connections.

The welcome was very pleasant, and the hotel staff are always available and ready to help. They gave us lots of restaurant addresses that we really liked, and helped us make reservations. As for the hotel, it's beautiful and very well-kept. We also really enjoyed the cocktails around the pool.

Everything was amazing at the hotel! It is only the first year open so everything is immaculate. Although not situated in one of the main resorts, we loved staying so central on the island - as visiting the beaches and the main towns was made easily by the local bus network and our stop was only a short 5 minute walk away.

This boutique hotel, with its exceptional cleanliness and modern facilities, was the most perfect place to unwind and relax after a busy day on the island. Breakfast was beautifully presented and our own mini swimming pool in our 2 bedroom apartment was a very pleasant surprise!!

The location was not a walk to the cool sites and shopping areas but honestly not a far taxi cab away either.

It is very conveniently located close to the airport. The staff, especially Dimitris, made us feel like we were home with family. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. We also had a light meal late the night of arrival that was better than many of the best tavernas. The decor of our accommodations also made us feel like we were returning home.

No dislikes, this place superseded expectations!

Absolutely loved everything about this hotel! The views, the room, the free breakfast every morning, the pool, our personal hot tub, I could go on and on. I stayed with my best friend and our favorite part was the host and his father, they were so kind and welcoming and if we are ever back in Greece we will definitely be sure to stay here again!

Excellent place to stay if you want to stay near Fira, but not too noisy or touristy. The bus stop to Fira is just in front of Carrefour Express, less than 5 mins walk from the property. Breakfast is lovely❤️

There was no shade around the pool which was a shame. Sun umbrellas really needed so you can stay outside. Not much to see/do in immediate area of hotel but five mins walk to bus stop and easy to catch bus in and out of Fira/Oia.

We loved it. AVAL is very new, so everything felt new and clean and smart. The decor is beautiful, all very tasteful. The bed was the comfiest bed I've slept in in years! Great big shower and good kitchen facilities though we only used the kettle and fridge. Lovely pool. Hot tub on the terrace, though it was so hot we didn't feel the need to sit in hot water! Lovely staff, very helpful.
