The pillows were uncomfortable. The elevator is too slow and without air conditioning. It would be wonderful if the breakfast was on the terrace, which the hotel is proud of, and not indoors without a hint of daylight. The coffee included in the breakfast is tragic.

The location of the hotel is great, ten minutes to the beach and five minutes to the city center. The view from the window is wonderful -- you can see the sea, the fortress and the ships. The room was decent, cleanliness at a high level.

Small lift and lots of stairs. Breakfast area small and breakfast lacks imagination. Although I had requested a side room with a small balcony we didn’t get one. Asked but it seems it’s the luck of the draw unless you phone just prior to arriving. Certainly not a deal breaker for returning

It’s a very tired looking hotel internally and the furnishings are very old fashioned and worn. The hotel could do with a re vamp, but I understand that costs money.

Stayed at the Cavalieri a few times, mainly for its great location. Easy walk into the heart of the old town but not affected by the noise from the crowds in the evening. Great views over the harbour and out to sea. The rooftop terrace bar/restaurant is a great place to have a cocktail , especially on a hot evening as it gets a nice breeze up there.

Love this old school hotel, perfect location, beautiful views and close to the old town. Had a big , roomy, light room. I read the reviews and some have a problem with what they call it's 'tired' look, I didn't , it adds to its charm. All the reception staff and hotel staff i encountered were lovely too. I have no complaints at all.

I couldn't get the air conditioner to work, but it was only one night and not too hot, so didn't matter. And the view out of the window wasn't great, but again it was only one night so didn't matter.

The room was very clean and comfortable, the staff very friendly and helpful. The roof top restaurant has fantastic views and great food.

Really lovely hotel in great location in Corfu Town. NB My first floor room was on 2 levels - with bed on an upper platform, so best to check if you find stairs a bit tricky (as I did)

The room was traditional but very comfortable.

The rooftop restaurant has a spectacular duel aspect view of the old fortress and the marina. The waiting staff were exceptional and also the staff at reception. Our requirements changed at the last minute and they accommodated us swiftly without hesitation.

excellent location - the hotel is old and one must realise that - on first-day lady did not have time to clean my room - but it was ok - my shower fitting was very loose but it is age so no need to complain - I handheld the shower

The only thing I didn't like was the lack of air conditioning, everything else was fine.

The location of the hotel is very good, it is located near the embankment and it takes 3-4 minutes to walk to the center. The inside of the hotel looks well-kept and beautiful, and the breakfast is good. The hotel staff is friendly and carefully monitors the safety of guests' stay.
