Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

BrazilHotel is well located, close to restaurants and supermarkets. We were driving a 9-seater vehicle, so it was quite difficult to find parking in the nearby streets. However, the hotel staff were very kind and showed us where we could park easily.

GreeceIt's difficult to find parking space near the hotel. The room looked very old fashioned and the toilet basket is squeezed in front of the toilet seat. It's a bit overpriced for a single room.
The room was clean. The hotel is located at a very central place in Arta. The bathroom was clean and the shower was great.

Location, right at the centre of the town. Next to supermarket Masoutis. They have a private car park which is chargeable but the staff were proactive to suggest street parking just outside the hotel, and guide us which lots to take,

GreeceAll was good. Ok, a very small thing - the elevator is small and bouncy. That has no bearing whatsoever on the experience, though. Also, but this is certainly no criticism but more for context, this is not a modern state of the art hotel owned by some global chain...this is an old school hotel that is clean and comfortable and safe and friendly and, for me, holds a great deal of charm as a memory of my youth when we'd hit the road and chance it. This hotel is much of what we, as Greeks, fondly remember from our own travels in our own country. Put a Conrad in Arta and there is no way it would capture the essence, or charm, of the Cronos.
Everything about this hotel is good: the bed was comfortable, there was plenty of space to lay things out, plenty of sockets for charging phones, the tv was large and with connection to streaming services (so bring your paswords), a small fridge in the room to keep cold water (it was summer), the air conditioner was large and quiet and cold, the shower was large (one of those rain shower thingies but this time with enough space to actually wash), a very short distance away from the restaurants and main attractions. The breakfast was simple, tasty and complete with, thankfully, very good coffee. Kind, friendly and helpful staff. Yes, I like this hotel. FOR MOTORCYCLISTS: If you are off the ferry from Italy or using Arta as a launching site, this hotel is an excellent choice. First, there is inside secured parking via industrial car sized lift so there is absolutely no chance of theft. Second, there is also plenty of off street parking along the side of the hotel in the main square. Either way, no fear of your panniers being stolen or your bike tampered with, not that this happens a lot in Greece anyway and especially not in Arta. Since you don't have to fiddle with panniers, there's plenty of closet space to hang suits, cupboards to put helmets, and balcony space (chairs and railings) to hang fast drying base layers. Most important, that shower though...excellent for washing off that hot day in the saddle. For any driver looking for fantastic roads: Leave Arta via the E591 towards the main highway E5 but instead of taking a direction either to Ioannina or Athens, cross under the highway and continue on the 30 towards Agio Dimitrios or Peta. Thank me about 45 minutes later when you're on your billionth sweeper and magnificent vista.

Just in the city center, with a parking service provided to make it very easy since there are no free public slots around. Staff was very friendly and there to help when needed. Everything is in a walking distance.

United StatesIt may have been us, but the sign for the hotel wasn’t really apparent to us at first and we drove around trying to find it. I also think the sign is different than the picture on booking.com.
We liked that there was an underground parking spot. The hotel is centrally located and has its own bar for food and drinks.

GreeceThe elevator is very small. It can fit at most 2 people. The bathroom was also quite small. The air condition was facing the bed, so I couldn't keep it on for a long time. Also, my room faced East, so it got quite hot during the day (I visited Arta in August). Finally, because of its location, there is noise coming from the street at all hours (though it's a reasonable trade-off for the great location of the hotel).
The location is great. Right in the heart of Arta. There is a vintage sense in the hotel. It's like stepping into a different era. The furniture and decoration are old fashioned but very well preserved and seem like new. The room was very clean. The towels felt fresh and soft.
