Wonderful and responsive host, George. He provided great restaurant recommendations. He held our luggage and booked an airport taxi for us. Very clean, comfortable and beautiful suites. We were welcomed with a bottle of Prosecco and juice for our 9 year old. George was very thoughtful towards our family and son. We also enjoyed relaxing in our private jacuzzi. Highly recommend to families and would definitely stay again!

The location was perfect, close to everything. The room exceeded our expectations. The room was clean, comfortable, and George (host) provided options for tours, restaurants, and transportation. George assisted us with our transportation to and from the port to the suite and even with our 5 hour tour around the island. Traveling to other countries with children can be challenging to navigate and ensuring we stayed at a centrally located facility was a top priority to me. I would stay here again and will recommend Deep in Caves to anyone who is planning to travel to Santorini!

This experience was truly unlike anything we’ve ever had. It was so personal and meaningful that I found myself saying, “Thank you so much, God. You truly make everything perfect in Your own time,” because we were shown favor in every part of this trip. We stayed for three nights at Deep in Cave Suites, but with Yannis (with sugar and spice, of course!), it felt like we had a whole week’s worth of memories packed into that time. We unknowingly visited during the off-season, and at first, I was worried since so many places were closed. But somehow, everything aligned perfectly—it felt like we were meant to be there in that quiet, special moment. Thank you, Yannis. May God reward you for every step you took for us. You were everything—our driver, our photographer, our guide, our planner. Thank you for never letting the joy fade.

One downside of visiting during Christmas is that it’s the rainy season in Santorini, which can limit outdoor activities and make exploring less enjoyable. Additionally, many restaurants and attractions are closed for the season, so options can be quite limited.

Our time at Deep in Cave Suites was magical! The suite itself was breathtaking—a perfect blend of traditional Cycladic architecture and modern luxury. The cave-style design gave it a unique charm, and the interiors were beautifully decorated with attention to every detail. Our suite was immaculately clean, spacious, and featured all the amenities we could have hoped for, including a super comfortable bed and a luxurious bathroom. The highlight was definitely the private terrace with jacuzzi. A special thanks to Yannis, the incredible host who made our stay so effortless. He went above and beyond to introduce us to the best restaurants and attractions, arranged transportation when everything was closed, and even spoiled us with delightful surprises. The location was peaceful yet close enough to explore Santorini with ease. Whether you’re visiting Santorini for a romantic getaway or simply to experience the island’s beauty, this is the place to stay. Thank you to the entire team for making our trip so memorable. The place is very well designed and feels so nice. We arrived late evening and it was raining so finding the reception took a bit of time but once we met Yanis our host things were just smooth from there. He was very friendly and gave us all useful information about Santorini. He was also always available on messages for any help we needed.

Honestly, there was nothing I didn’t like.

The property was so lush. Everything had been thought of. George was beyond helpful. The location was great, just a 5 minute walk to the shops, busy station etc.

We loved everything!

George went above and beyond for his guests, greeting them as they arrive and providing a list of recommendations to make our stay in Fira the best it can be. The location of the accomodation was only a few mins walk from Fira. The cave was also so clean, gorgeous and spacious. It is rare these days to meet someone like George who really puts their guests needs above anything else. Deep in Cave will forever be deep in our hearts.

The service is stunning. George has great communications good spot and comfortable room with a number of day beds and a personal jacuzzi. We were only in Santorini for 2 half days so George organising our transport, and helping us with where to go and storage of luggage meant we could really maximise our time. He’s a legend.

The room was gorgeous, sparkling clean, the location was perfect, and George was amazing. Before arriving George gave us a very comprehensive list of restaurants he’d recommended, places we should go, and alternate activities. Although our time on the island was short we were able to go to a few of his recommendations and let me tell you he did not steer us wrong once. He even went out of his way to make a reservation for us. I will be recommending this place to anyone who travels to Santorini. Location was perfect, right in the middle of Fira and most things were within walking from our accommodation. Host (George) was exceptionally good and well knowledged of the area. George suggested a number of things that we could do during our stay and organized one of our tours. Our tour driver(Yianni) was excellent and also very knowledgeable of the area. Highly recommend staying in one of the Deep in cave suites.

Nothing not to like, it was perfect!!!

This is genuinely the best accomodation we have ever stayed in. It was amazing in the pictures, and even more breath taking in real life. The location is perfect, a few hundred metres from the town square. All of the recommendations George the owner had for us were perfect, we loved everything suggestion. George was incredible and was a big part of why this was the best experience we have ever had. He assisted with airport transfers, tours, bookings etc and made our lives so much easier on holiday. We didn’t want to leave, and can’t wait to come back and spend more time in this amazing accom. 10/10 will be back as soon as possible.

The property was stunning. So spacious! We loved having separate areas in the property to relax. There is a lovely lounge area too. The outside space is lovely and a bonus having sun loungers too.
