Staff, position, the building.

The safety deposit box in the room was not working and they could not repair or fix it during our 3 days stay there. We had to leave our laptops at the reception over and over again. Breakfast needs to improve. The coffee sucked. And if you are late like I was on my last day, most things are gone. :(

The hotel is located near a metro station and is within walking distance to major sightseeing spots. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was below expectation as it was the same throughout my 3 day stay.

Unfortunately, on second floor, WiFi was not properly working.

The room was detail-oriented with modern tech and all listed items were in the room. Routine cleaning also didn't disappoint. The breakfast was definitely delicious and well-served.

Unfortunately the hotel is not in a great location. There were protests happening outside the hotel on the square on our first day. Not a safe place to walk around at night.

The hotel staff were great and were always available to answer any questions.

Some areas needed a little updating (paint, stairway carpet).

Location was great for jumping on sightseeing bus and metro. Several good restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast had good variety and was well provisioned. Older European style hotel experience. We booked a room for our family of four and it was perfect with a Queen size bed and 2 twin beds in another room.

The shower was hanging off the wall. The bathroom extractor made ahorrible screeching noise. The lift broke down. The place reeked of faded glory, needs a complete overhall.

My room was close to the motor way so the sound of cars were a bit disturbing

The front desk people were really nice and kind when we told them about our flight shift, they were kind enough to extend our check out time. Breakfast was good. It was worth the money.

it was perfect for what we needed. Nothing fancy but everything in working order. Breakfast was good. The negative reviews are uncalled for in my opinion. Certainly worth the money paid.

It is old and noisy. They are trying to compensate with other facilities that I appreciate for the cost. You cannot deny it. The windows are old. It has its charm, but yes, Athens is extremely noisy. It's not the hotel's fault, but the side streets are full of sketchy people. You can easily find someone sleeping next to the entrance at night. Personally, I would not go out at night even if I was in the center of the city, full of fancy hotels. It does not feel safe.

Is it loud and old? YES. Is it the best choice money wise when it comes to budget friendly trips? YES. I loved that our room was cleaned every day. The room was small, but had a lot of storage for luggage. The location is great too, you can get to the subway easily and it's a 25min walk to the Acropoles. Breakfast was good, with a daily english breakfast variety, sweets, fruits and they were very kind to provide us with almond milk for our stay. Staff was very kind.

My window was facing the main street and noise at night was audible, some homeless people hanging around, the hotel itself is old and would benefit from some face-lift

Very friendly staff, good breakfast, cleanness, bottle of vine as welcome gift, bottle of water every day, location was very convenient- close to metro station and walkable distance to Monastiraki and Acropoli

We walked through some surprisingly awful things to get to the hotel, with suitcases and children in tow. Would have been better arriving by taxi

Neighbourhood has lots of vagrants one whom relieved himself right in front of me and my wife right across the main entrance of the hotel.

There should be double layer window glass because street noise is annoying when sleeping The light in toilet makes too much noice when its on because its a ventilator too .it should be quiet Side streets are a risky
