How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Pricey food/ drinks (but typical for a 5star hotel…). Plenty of good cheaper restaurants nearby.
Great views from the excellent pool! Rooms v comfortable. Good location, near metro.

Pillows are hard, and we even ordered the softest option in their 'Pillow Menu' (nice touch, but offer also super soft pillows for us sleeping on our stomachs).
Rooms are spacious, extremely clean. Loved the complimentary Illy espresso machine and capsules in the room - a nice touch.

Cost of food and drinks at hotel. 6euros for coffee us expensive however, they make a good cappuccino
The bed, large and very comfortable. Our room was a good size with plenty of room to move around. Bathroom well equipped except you have to step into the bath for a shower. Big fluffy towels with amenities replaced each day. Swimming pool a good size on the top floor with great views if the Parthenon and Lycabettos Hill. We ate breakfast in either if the surrounding cafes, also great for dinner too. Metro is within 10 minute walking distance. This is our second time at this hotel and we would go again

The rooms are quite small, but we stayed in renovated rooms with a window to the street so we didn’t mind. The beds could be better, the mattress is very hard and the bedding isn’t amazing. At this price level hotels tend to try to offer a good sleep.
The staff were amazing. Despite the size of the hotel and the number of guests the staff dealt with all our issues and were extremely kind and welcoming.

Food at hotel restuarant

Reception staff (one or two of them) try to avoid helping you. For example, one morning we had to leave at 7 and a day before asked if we could get a breakfast box to go. He told that breakfast starts at 7 anyway you get in 10 min before without any problem. But that was not the case in the morning.
room, breakfast, most of the staff, cleanliness, view from the room (Acropolis) Will visit again. I would like to mention that before arriving at the hotel I read some of the negative reviews, but I was happily surprised that the hotel has already improved on the most of the complaints. This shows a sense of responsibility and I liked it. This is why I am writing this review, and hope some minor complaints will be taken care of as well.

the hotel is wonderful and the most important is the the great attitude of the staff, always friendly and willing to help. they gave us an up grade. Xenia from reception is the best, she helped us get a tour and guide. They were kind enough to send a cake to celebrate my daughter's birthday.

everything amazing , services perfect , people work there so freindly , cleanless , location close to alote of cafes and resturant , area around hotel safe , this the 4 th time i stayed in this hotel and everytime i will visit athen i will staye in it again, the freont desk reception were amazing especially xenia she is so nice so freindly so helpful , she gave me very nice suite i never forget what she did to me , everyone work there are amazing , thanks for xenia and everyone work there , they are amazing.

pool could be somewhat heated but it was refreshing. gym needs a little updating. maybe more staff for picking up phones. otherwise a wonderful experience. expanding the pool area for more lounge chairs.

The roof top pool is far too crowded and not enough shade cover from the sun. The hotel can definitely make some improvements there.
The aircon was excellent and the size of the room was very generous. The hotel room was lovely and clean and the WIFI was good. The room service was prompt and the menu has a good variety of food, drinks and wine. The breakfast has an excellent variety. We had a late flight out and the hotel gave me a late check out on the day which was exceptionally kind of them.

slow room service small area around the pool and very cold pool water
The room was clean and big enough, no noise from outside streets and traffic. Bed very comfortable. Good location, 10min walk from Syntagma. Breakfast was good, but served in small closed space which was is not advisable in times when Covid is exploding in Greece. All in all, this hotel is a good choice and I would stay here again.

Somewhat lacking in cleanliness. Stacks of trays with dinner leftovers that had been delivered by room service outside of many rooms, and not cleared before late afternoon. A bit dated hotel and breakfast hall.
