Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe bar staff had no charisma and came across very disinterested every time myself or my husband went to the bar. None of the other staff were like this.
The food was consistently lovely always a great selection and well labelled. The housekeeping staff were always so kind to our children, they were so lovely. Our young son needed a doctor late at night during our stay and the reception staff were absolutely fantastic and helped translate for my husband. They really helped us when we needed it.

IrelandInitial room we were given was very small and would have been uncomfortable had we stayed in that room for the week, thankfully we were moved to a more spacious room on the second night.
Excellent location in terms of its proximity to the beach and town.

RomaniaThe tariff for rental of sunbeds with 20 Euro/day seem a little bit high considering the fact that it is the same even if you stay in the hotel or not
Very good breakfast, lunch and dinner. We made a reservation for half-board but upgraded to all inclusive at the reception. For some reason, maybe due to availability, we received a room upgrade without any extra charge so we stayed in a superior room type/size compared with what we reserved.

HungaryThe place is definitely not a 5 star. On the pictures it looks much better than in reality. The rooms are ok, but the furnitures are quite injured and the bathroom is also not the nicest for a 5 star. The staff is neutral, if you ask they answer and do what you asked for but not so friendly. The drinks are served as soft drink, juices..etc. we got it in a 3 star last year in Crete. Very bad quality and taste. The breakfast is ok, but sometimes you need to wait for some of the things as there is only 1 person working in the kitchen. So it is rather a 3 star and not a 5.
The location is good and its silent, so you can rest. The pools are also fine.

GermanyThe breakfast was not as expected for a 5 star hotel, it did not offer enough variety of food - it was offering the same food every time.
We received a free upgrade to a twin family room, so we had two bed rooms with a total of four beds. We enjoyed the extra space very much. The bathroom was big enough, equipped with a bathtub. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The room provided us with beach towels which were exchanged regularly.

United KingdomI would have liked to be able to use the sun terrace on the roof but there weren’t enough staff to serve drinks up there. Most of the local attractions and restaurants were already closed for the season so if we hadn’t had such good weather it may have been a little boring. Most of the other guests were All Inclusive we were Bed and Breakfast. It wasn’t possible to purchase Bar Snacks during the day so we made do with crisps and ice creams from the nearby supermarket. We walked or drove to restaurants in the evenings but did look at the option of an evening meal in the hotel one evening. It didn’t look very appetising so went elsewhere with some All Inclusive guests who were not impressed with the hotel dinners. When purchasing drinks from the bar we were offered the cheap All Inclusive options or more expensive brands. We were glad we hadn’t paid for All Inclusive as it didn’t seem to be value for money.
It was adjacent to the beach with sun beds and seating on the sand and around the pool area along with a pool bar and playground for children. the rooms were comfortable and the whole hotel was clean. staff were friendly, polite and helpful. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices. We were there for the last week of the season so it was easy to find space around the pool.

HungaryI have never written any such detailed commentary before on any reservations, but since this resort was proudly quoting their 5* rating personally to us, here are my observations: - our room has been booked with having a sea view, but its view was actually partial - our room has been booked with having a bath tub, but there was a small shower only - the breakfast was not fine at all, but was fully average - the staff was not kind at all, but was rather rude, even multiple times - the pool was closing too early - sea water was flowing from the tap - there was no drinking water in the hotel room, but 1 bottle of water was given for the 1st day only, the other ones were offered for extra charges - the shower cabin did not function well - the drain was blocked - the towel rack was broken - the air conditioner was continuously blowing smelly air - the wifi was not working as expected - the beachfront was average, was not nice at all - the reception has complained that the cleaners could not enter into our room for multiple days due to having the “do not disturb” sign placed and we did not inform them about its situation in advance, i.e. we do not need to have cleaning, new towels, etc… :D - the safe box is available for extra charge only Considering these above points this was our worst 5* hotel for sure.

United KingdomThe all inclusive cocktails weren't very nice and it would really benefit from a fresh orange juice machine and fresh juice for breakfast
The location was superb. Far enough away from all the bars and discos for a great family experience. There was always lots of space to sit. Staff were friendly and efficient. Rooms were always cleaned really well. A wonderful Greek holiday resort.

United KingdomWasn't a 5 star as advertised. Conjoined room, which meant there was no privacy whatsoever (could even hear the residents next door use the toilet, which was VERY disturbing and unpleasant as he had diarrhoea, also heard every cough, sneeze, fart and spit from the next room which ruined the end of our holiday!) Cocktails didn't taste good(cheap). 2 single beds instead of a queen sized bed as advertised.
Staff were very helpful and friendly. Family of cats on the property, which we fed daily. The location was brilliant. Close to bars and restaurants. Breakfast was OK(breakfast included) The Roof top bar was nice at night when the sun was setting over the mountains
