How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Rather expensive, no hotel parking was available (they have a very limited number of spaces, which we've learned only after we booked it), small external pool (given the number of rooms)
Good breakfast, very friendly staff, walking distance from the city center. They are paying much attention to customer satisfaction and feedback.

The pool is surrounded by building so you don’t have much sun for a number of hours. also it has a depth of 1,50m for the whole pool and no stairs so was not good to be with the baby there.
Hotel is really modern and beautiful , we found it very comfortable and loved the view from our balcony. It is really near to the beach, 2 min walking which we enjoyed and was perfect with a small baby. Stefanos in the reception was truly amazing from day 1 until we left, really helpful and professional! breakfast is good!

Great breakfast. Located one minute away from the center. Staff at the reception was very friendly. They gave us great advice where to eat and to drink. Also one of the guests had birthday so the hotel made a nice surprise.

the pool could have been larger, anyway when you come to Crete you don’t come to stat at the pool.
modern room with sea view direct to Chania sea walls. good location. marvelous breakfast. parking free. welcome cocktails and fridge drinks. cleaning service superb. a lot of staff to attend us.

A long walk to a swimming beach

Very comfortable bed and beautiful sunset sea view. The receptionist was so helpful with helping us plan our trip and recommending restaurants and activities. very central location, but still away from the hustle and bustle of the old town in Chania. They catered really quickly to every demand we had. we had a perfect stay and highly recommended!

This hotel is amazing, very clean,the staff extremely welcoming and kind. For breakfast was a huge choice and all very tasty. It was a treat, they offer some drinks in the room fridge with coffee and tea. The bed is next level comfy.

After having a flight cancelled and needing to find quick accommodation for the night we were so relieved to find such a beautiful hotel. The reception staff when we arrived were so friendly and really made us feel welcome and made light of the situation which made us smile. They can’t do enough for you and very informative! The room was better than imagined, all of the amenities you could need / want. We had a gorgeous sea view room, all of the little touches made our stay so very memorable and special. The pool area was great, breakfast was the best we’d had from the previous hotels we’d stayed at. Very chic modern hotel and very well situated only a short walk into the town centre which is breathe taking , we will definitely be recommending and would love to come back one day. Thank you!

The hotel is excellent. Very comfortable rooms comfortable beds lovely walk in shower fridge topped up daily nice breakfast with outside terrace.But most of the staff were excellent very friendly and couldn’t do enough to help.

Our stay was really nice. Special thanks to Georgina and Katalyna for their great recommandations of activities. They were absolutely nice persons. All the staffs is awsome: nice kind and always helping. The room was really confortable and calm. Perfect size for 3 people. We will definitely loved to go back. Breakfadt was with many varieties. Pretty good.

hotel was super nice, modern and new, room was big with nice furniture, breakfast were tasty, location near sea and cca 20min to the center, walking on promenade, very small parking place, you need to inform them in advance if you want parking place, otherways parking on the street, we didnt have problem to find place

Everything. Seemed like a brand new place. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Facilities were fantastic - spa, massage place and pool are available. Breakfast was some of the best I’ve had at a hotel. Lots of variety and nearly everything tasted great.

It was nice to have breakfast in the mornings. Not the best, but nice to have. The staff was very nice and helpful. They had some beverages in the fridge which was very nice. The room was a good size room and a comfy bed.
