Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

TurkeyWe love everything.
First of all location was amazing. The owner Mike and his wife very helpful, friendly. Everyday has a room service. The room is very clear. And ladikos garden very close to Ladikos beach and Anthony Quinn bay. We went there by walking. If we go again Rhodos we definitely want to stay Ladikos garden.

Czech RepublicMike and Iota were the most amazing hosts we ever had. They were by far the most hospitable, nice and accommodating people. Both were extraordinary in giving us suggestions on what to visit and they also provided a rental car for us when we asked, the procedure was fairly easy and stress free. Mike has become a very good friend of ours during the stay and we are already looking forward in coming back in the next couple months. We strongly suggest the newly made jacuzzi rooms which are phenomenal and at a great price, worth every penny. The rooms are tastefully done, a lot of style and personality. The Jacuzzis are so beautiful at night with the lighting, 100% recommend for couples to split a bottle of wine while enjoying the massage jets of the Jacuzzi, giving a spa like experience. The hotel is being renovated and is already amazing, but is getting even better as Mike works very hard on it everyday. The location is excellent, not too far from the city centre and Rodos Old Town by car/bus. The bays in proximity were by far the most beautiful on the entire island (Anthony Quinn bay and Ladiko bay). There is a bus station nearby and a minimarket which makes the location even more practical. Overall, Mike and Iota have a lot to be proud of, the hotel is amazing and we strongly recommend this place for anyone's stay in Rhodes, especially couples We wish Iota and Mike all the best with their rentals, every tourist at the same hotel shared the same opinion as us. And thank you to Mike and Iota for making our vacation so special and stress free, they are definitely one of the best hosts that could exist. - Marek and Najma :)))

South AfricaWe liked everything.
The wonderful host Yiota was super helpful. They have a car rental agency as well, which we found essential, and came to meet us at the ferry port. The property is being refurbished but they are retaining as much of the old garden as possible; lovely old lemon trees and plantings. Good location.

the location is simply perfect. Even if you don’t rent a car or motor you could get to Faliraki, Lindos and Rodos town easily. breakfast in the complex is a good quality continental breakfast. the same place for dinner is excellent. the 2 beaches by short walking are simply amazing. bit crowded, but as we lived so close we could occupy the best beds from early morning. Marleen and Giorgos are lovely and very helpful.

United KingdomThe very small beach, however, was permanently overcrowded from 11am, all sunbeds reserved and no space on the sand, every single day and that was in September (I can't imagine it in July or August!) - for that reason, I have marked down the location, as the only other beach option is Anthony Quinn Bay which is as equally overcrowded. In my opinion, the beach at Ladiko is not particularly very nice. There is only one tiny mini market nearby which doesn't sell any food! It sold (very expensive) cold drinks, ice creams, and inflatable crocodiles! I had to take the bus all the way to Faliraki just to buy toothpaste, so be fully prepared! The restaurant next to Ladiko Garden Hotel looked good but unfortunately was just that - I ate calimari there which wasn't fresh and the draft beer was awful, so I didn't go back. Luckily, Ladiko Beach Taverna was everything I needed as it was actually the only way to eat and I had no other choice!
Marleen is lovely and very helpful. WiFi was good and the rooms were cleaned every day. The room, on the top floor, was beautifully furnished and decorated to a high standard which exceeded my expectations. I loved the bath in the bathroom and the balcony was a nice size, with a good view of the garden. There was a full-sized fridge. The bus stop to Faliraki Centre/Rhodes Town was very close (but the last bus back is at around 5-5.20pm). The property was just a short walk to Ladiko beach which was great. Ladiko Beach Taverna and the staff there really made my holiday, as I ate so well there every evening (but there was nothing to do and nowhere to go after 9pm, as that was when it closed!) If you're happy to be in bed by 10 every night, this is the ideal location for you!

LuxembourgIt could have been clearer that there was no reception as such, and hence we had to arrange to meet Marleen. But once that was understood, all was fine!

NorwayWould be nice to have drying racks or a set of clothespins available for the swimming suits and the towels- it gets windy at nights. Also having an info board with the welcome info could be an idea since there is no reception.
Great location - you get the whole Antony Quinn’s bay for yourself in the mornings😉 the hiking path to the observatory starts there too. The owner - Marleen was really helpful and welcoming- a good chat and very quick to respond to all the messages.

CuraçaoPrice quality experience ratio is very good for what you get here, so nothing we didn't like particularly.
Spent a week here. Marleen was waiting on us upon our late arrival. She was very friendly and welcoming. Location great, within 10 minutes walking you can reach 2 beaches, some of the nicest on the island. Good restaurants nearby. Busstop around the corner. Goes 5x per day to Rhodos Centre. Or 20 minutes walking to busstop going more often both direction Rhodos Centre as Lindos. Room comfortable, simple decor with everything you need. Fridge with small freezer and well cooling AC. Marleen can help with tips of things to do as well as car rental. All in all a positive experience.

ItalyEverything was fine. The bathroom has a bath tube and needs to be renewed.
We really enjoyed our stay in Rhodes. Ladikos Garden is located in a quiet position, very close to nice beaches but out of Faliraki's crowd. Our room was simple but clean with a small terrace facing the inner garden. Many thanks to the owner Marleen. A good breakfast is served for 10eur per person in a close building at the end of the property.

United StatesThe owners Mike and Yiota are crooks. I originally wrote a 5-star review because I had a great 1st stay, and I booked a 2nd stay, which is 5 days from now... but I sent a cancel request because of getting Covid (yesterday was the first cancel request sent, 6 nights in advance! SIX) and SEVERAL WHATS APP messages and they IGNORED me. It is very difficult if not IMPOSSIBLE TO REACH THEM. So I had to take a taxi today (while sick!) to the property to speak with Mike directly and he was there just drying dishes or something. "Oh, we are very busy." When I explained I had Covid and need to go back home so I can go to hospital (where I have insurance), he said "we have hospital here. We sent lady yesterday." He said I couldn't cancel this last minute, "the day before," which is a lie, because my reservation is 5 days from now and he doesn't even know the correct day. So they want to hold on to my money that's coming to them in the future, that's fine. I have the right to speak my mind then for that price. I have to leave an honest review so that is why I am changing my previous review here. I was going to come back next year and stay for 10 days with my husband, but obviously we will go somewhere else. You will be fine here if you stay once or don't need to cancel and don't need anything or have questions or need to reach the owners for whatever reason via WhatsApp. They are OK with having Covid positive guests, so be careful.
The hotel itself is in a close location to the beach, included nice individual pool and large backyard, and decorations of room. It was mostly clean, (the bathroom floor was dirty, it had water coming up from INSIDE the pipe,) and air conditioning was included in the price.

GreeceWe booked the Double room with Spa bath and this is mainly the reason of giving a bad review. In the description of the room they inform that it features a hot tub. Beware, because this is not a hot tub but only a pool, meaning that the water is cold. When I informed Mikele of that, he just answered me that that's how their spa is providing 0 solutions. We mainly booked the room for the hot tub and we were truly disappointed that this was not the case. I may also add that the room is supposed to offer a mountain view as well which is also not the case since newly formed structures cover the whole mountain side, making the view fairly ugly.
The location is exceptional, located near the beautiful Anthony Quinn Bay beach and the area of Faliraki, covers the needs of being in a more quiet place with everything that a town offers near you. Mikele was a very hospitable person, though this is countered by his unprofessionalism, if you are expecting some genuine professional service that is not a good place for you. Though, if you would like to experience some honest Greek hospitality, then Mikele will be one of the best people for that.

UkraineThe guest houses have walls of plasterboard, so you can hear your neighbords loud and clear if they are emotional and/or passionate. I was there in June, so it's the very start of the season: some reno was going on here and there for the whole stay. Whereever I go, the last thing I expect is a holiday at a construction site, so, to my mind, all the prep for the holiday season should be done before any guests arrive and not during their leisure time.
The property is a few min walk from the most gorgeous Antony Quinn Bay: spectacular views! The pictures of the beach live rent-free in my memories! The hosts are a very amiable couple. Iota brought me some traditional Greek treats and a sun umbrella. Also, she was very nice to extend my check-out time for free and let me stay a couple of extra hours before taking me to the airport. I liked the vintage style of the guest houses as I am not into lux chain holiday accommodation and always prefer local style.
