Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

BelgiumThe hostel has very little decor so it kind of feels very white and sterile? Almost hospital-like or dentist office? They could make more of an effort to make it cozier. My dorm only had a very small window above a door so even with 8 clean girls, the room got very muggy and stinky. Every night I had to go ask the front desk to at least turn on the circulation function on the AC unit. Zero airflow otherwise. There's also some security issues in my opinion. I never needed my key. Door to the outside seemed to always be open or at least until very late and the door to my dorm could just be opened if no one had actively locked it. Seems like it would not be difficult for someone who's not a guest to get in. This is clearly a relatively recently built hostel, but you can tell their choice in materials was not weighed up well enough against the intensity the facilities would be used. First night no hot water, rest of the time either boiling or cold. Had to go ask for more toilet paper multiple times so I'm not sure how often the cleaners came. Never saw any cleaners during my stay, but the room didn't seem to get dirtier so they must've come at least a few times. I also heard some of the men had bedbugs in their dorm...
It was a super social hostel, so met some really interesting people. The dorm (dorm C for women) was really spacious and had 2 toilets and 2 showers. Beds were comfortable enough but I would've liked a little curtain. Everyone has a locker to store your stuff in. You get bedding/towel and bottle of water on arrival. The location is a little weird and I understand why some reviewers found it slightly creepy to get to the hostel. The location is a bit bizarre, but it was quiet and great bus connections to the center of Corfu Town as well as the rest of the island. Price/quality wise this was pretty good in my opinion. This hostel was WAY cleaner than Ami's House in the centre of town. I'd go here again, no problem!

United StatesThere’s an emergency light literally on the wall by the bed which doesn’t turn off. You have to sleep with a light on, basically. Besides that, the mattress was pretty uncomfortable.
The private room was big

BelarusLots of guests, so the kitchen is often a bit dirty. There aren't enough plates and cups available. Location: to the city either by city bus no. 4 and 7 (from the city, only no. 7) or on foot - 4 km to the Corfu town's center. The nearby beach is not suitable for swimming or sunbathing, so you should go somewhere else (obviously, it's not the hostel's fault).
This is my second time staying here, so I knew where I was going. On the plus side, the hostel has gender-separated dorms with their own bathrooms and toilets (there are shampoos and soap left by previous guests in the showers). A shared kitchen with a corner with stuff and food left by other travelers for the hostel guests. In an air-conditioned dorm, there is a large locker for your stuff with a gift (a 0.5-liter bottle of water), a reading lamp, and a socket right next to the bed. You got two towels. 24/7 reception, so no problem with late check-in or early check-out. Possibility to print board passes for free. In the kitchen (it's really large), there are two fridges (the hostel has stickers that we use to mark our food and drinks with our name and check-out date), a kettle, a microwave, and a drip coffee maker. Just nearby (5 min walk), on the opposite side of the street, there is the Sunset Hotel Corfu, where you can go for breakfast (from 07:30; €10/person). There is a Lidl and a Masoutis supermarket nearby. Those who want to go to Paleokastritsa do not have to go to Corfu Town, as the route passes right by the hostel.

MoroccoFor 8 women staying in the same dorm, the bathroom needed cleaning more than one time per day, at the end of the day, it was NASTY! Also, there this is a weird smell of sewers insinde the dorm that needs to be taking care of. Since it's located few meters from a highway, it can be a bit intimidating by night.
I was staying in a 8 beds women dorms, it was quite spacious, with a couch and private bathroom. As for the location, it's far from old town, but it's 2 mins from bus station that takes you to old town in 15 mins and it's also located 2 mins from green bus station wich takes you 20 mins to get to paleokastritsa. The hostel is a 5 mins walk from a super market (LIDL). staff was helpfull regarding any questions or directions. In general, a cheap option to experience corfu.

SpainIt's not in Corfu town as it might looks. It's at 15 minutes BY BUS; and the bus passes each 20/30 minutes, or whenever it wants. So if you are not travelling with Motorbike or Car; I would avoid it.
The place looks new, is very spacious, the share female room is very big and you have a pretty big locker to have all your belongings. Besides there is a place to leave your towels and also outside to put your washes clothes. The toilet is also big, although i missed some bench or place to put the towels, the clothes and even the skin care stuff (there was very little place available). Georgia is great! She was super helpful, with indications of coffee place, excursions, etc.
