How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Everything was great.
Beautiful little hotel. The lady who runs it is very friendly and happy to help you if you need something. She always made sure, we have clean room :) The location can't be better. Off the main street but still very close, so short walk to the bus stop or bars. Beach is very close to, and it's a really good beach. We had a little terrace, so we sat there every moment we could :) Thank you very much for making our stay in Santorini so special :)

Despina was very kind and helpful. Vassilis was also ready to respond to messages. The location is very good. I'll definitely stay there if I should go back to Santorini.

Perfect location and super friendly owners. Apartments were spotless clean, cleaning was done every day. Beds are very comfortable and even though room we rented was not big, there is enough space clothes and everything we brought for 6 day vacation.

Everything was perfect
Great hotel in a quiet area walking distance to the beach , restaurants and super market. Also, walking distance to the bus that will easily take you to Fira, Oia and any other location you would like to visit for under 3 euro /person . Hotel staff very friendly and helpful !

The only less good note is the uncomfortable shower curtain and the slightly salty running water (unfortunately this is a problem that afflicts a good part of the island due to the lack of internal springs) p
Great location, located 100m from the seafront Convenient private parking The room was comfortable, they made us find a bottle of fresh water in the fridge and two bottles of welcome orange soda The manager was exceptional in everything, she made herself available for any eventuality while remaining discreet and respectful of privacy The room was tidied up and cleaned every day regardless of the time we left it Halfway through our holiday we found some local "jam" in the fridge as an additional gift. Eternally we had a table and a drying rack In addition, there is also a kettle with cups and cutlery

Just some little things... The tab/shower water was quite salty and even after shower we could feel the salt. And the lid of the toilette seat always felt down into our backs when slightly moving on the toilette. I have never experience this before. Slightly better quality could improve this.
The staff (owners) were super friendly and nice. We also got good restaurant recommendations. The location is great and it's a very quiet place. The bed was very confy and we slept very well! Overall very good cost/performance ratio.

Amazing hospitality by Despoina I was welcomed with a juice and she would also make jelly for me every day.There was daily room cleaning service and there was a bottle of complimentary local wine in the room.She printed out what I needed and saved me a trip to copy shop.She gifted me a local soap as a souvenir on my last day. It felt like home and I would definitely like to go back

First of all I would like to thank Despoina for her hospitality and her Greek filoxenia! She was very kind and ready to help us in everything! She welcomed us with two cold orange juices in a hot day, which honestly I loved it. The room was clean and cosy with its typical cycladic style. We had a car so everything was easy in our transportation, since we went in low season days. Perissa has its beach, bars, market and I think during the peak of summer is a good choice for a more relaxing destination to stay. In the end Despoina let us stay during the day, until we had to go to the airport, which was something amazing for us, since we didn't have to worry where to leave our luggage or how to bath and stay fresh! Despoina thank you very much for your hospitality, next time we come to Santorini we'll stay there!!!

Public transport was a bit limited to explore the island but it is off season so that’s understandable!
The owner was extremely kind and helpful and really made the stay! Great location right by restaurants and shops and short walk to the beach! The room was very clean and comfortable and had good facilities.

The only one tiny thing was that the wi-fi wasn't great. It wasn't always available in the room. Once I went outside I picked it up but inside the room it was a little weak.
It was a gorgeous little hotel and the staff was fantastic. So helpful and accommodating :) fantastic overall. It's 2 minutes from the beach and just great.
