The place is spotless, the breakfast was great, George and Costas were very helpful and kind, always check with Costas about places to eat - he is very knowledgeable.

Everything! The food was lovely. The staff were polite, friendly and very helpful. The location was good, the pool and gardens were beautiful. The hotel was absolutely spotless everywhere. The water was hot for the shower, plenty of sunbeds. We just love the Hotel and the staff!

Everything about hotel Matina was just perfect. Great location, great selection of food at breakfast time, staff constantly checking and topping up anything running low. Room was spacious with a good size balcony, room cleaned every day with fresh towels. Staff very friendly and helpful.

My only 'not perfect' part was the bathroom, mostly the shower area is really small. But that's a small comment.

The hotel is really nice, rooms are good, the swimming pool area is excellent. What really makes the hotel a perfect experience is the staff! Everyone is so nice and goes above and beyond to please the guests.

I honestly cannot think of anything that would have made my stay any better.

My stay at Hotel Matina was a pleasant and welcome contrast to an unfortunate start in Athens. Great location (just a 10 min walk to Kamari beach, shopping, and restaurants), the general atmosphere of the hotel is relaxing and welcoming, with a great breakfast and friendly and helpful staff. Fun fact: They have regular guests who have been coming to the Hotel since the 70s! I understand why.

There wasn't an electric plug in the bathroom there was one outside the door and only two others in the room. That was a bit inconvenient.

The breakfast was fantastic and wasn't ridiculously early as some are! The room was good, included air con and had a later than usual checkout time of 12pm which was appreciated. The pool was nice and clean too :)

Breakfast was fine. Staff were great/pleasant. We really enjoyed staying at Hotel Matina. My wife and I already talking about returning to this hotel next year.

The bathroom and specially the shower is super small. Impossible not to put water all over the place. The noisy fridge and noisy sound of maybe ventilation or something in the corridor on the second floor close to room 13.

Staff was super helpful and very kind to help you out with everything you need. The pool is really nice.

I loved how the hotel is close to the beach, restaurants and shops (4 blocks). Yet the hotel is secluded and very quiet. There is no foot or road traffic. The pool area feels like you are in Hawaii. The staff was super attentive and gave great recommendations. They had a great driver who took me wherever I needed to go. Very special one-on-one service. EX: When I arrived at 1:00 a.m. the cook made me breakfast. If I cleared my table they all said "No, you are on vacation.". Every morning the buffet breakfast was wonderful. I miss their tomatoes & eggs. It is first rate and I will definitely return.
