I found the steps to our room ok but less able-bodied people may struggle.

Breakfast was OK but other hotels offered more hot choices. Plenty of hot drink choices. Never had mountain tea before so that was nice to have.

Very thin walls, noisy neighbors, can hear absolutely everything; the rooms need a complete reno, especially the bathroom, by toiletries they mean a shampoo in the hand soap dispenser - that's it, towels are gray from so much use (original color was white) - they need replacing entirely, beach towels 4 eur per day, bad internet: slow during day time, sometimes dead completely after 9pm, shower cabin has a big opening and useless curtain that lets the water out, hard not to make a complete puddle on the entire floor, no drain outside the shower, the water smells like a sewer a little, during shower and there's a bit of black mold. Hard to access unless you rent a car / scooter. We prefer using only public transport and you have the 7 going to downtown which comes relatively often but you still need to walk uphill for 10 min from Dafnila bus station and not many options if you wish to go further, you'll have to use some private "green busses" from Gouvia and those are not so reliable when it comes to returns. There's no beach around (the ones u see on G maps belong to other hotels), only Gouvia beach which is 40 min walking on the car road, there's no side walk between places in Corfu it seems. We also didn't like that the cleaning lady would leave the balcony door open for all mosquitos to come in by the time we'd return... There's no net and one can easily vent by aircon. For the price one could get a 4 stars hotel somewhere else.

The hotel itself (outside building and garden), the pool and the staff are lovely, breakfast was very varied and delicious.

No coffee or tea in the room, I got just one water on the first day…. No food in the hotel after 4 pm , only some snacks and drinks

Ants on the balcony, we couldn’t sit out. Location is very hard if you don’t hire a car. Very steep hill, ok on way down but very hard on way up in the heat.

The rooms are small and have outdated furniture. The bathrooms don't look clean. The towels are in poor condition, even after being washed. The breakfast is not particularly varied.

The hotel is situated in a beautiful area on a hill with olive trees and a stunning panorama. The courtyard, garden, and common areas are well-maintained. The staff is responsive and strives to help in every possible situation.

The actual comfort of the pool placed white recliners, were unfortunately rather uncomfortable on your upper back, with the metal bar creating an uneasy position. The larger fixed sun beds for two persons appeared a little unclean and tired, so perhaps maintenance could be slightly improved.

The Pool and cold shower were lovely, very relaxing. The Breakfast was an ample selection, and welcoming friendly staff, providing a comfortable environment to start your day. The A/C in our room chilled us down perfectly after the extreme heat we experienced.

The bathroom was really old fashioned, the shower was tiny with a useless curtain so water went everywhere.

The shower curtain is too short and floods the floor. The hotel says all rooms are the same and will be addressed in the winter. Double bed pool lounger covers need replacing with clean ones every day or two. Pool bar is good, but food finishes at 4. 6 would be better. Pool music sometimes rather loud which is a shame when you want to sunbathe, read or talk in peace. Car hire is a must. Get it from reception.

Breakfast had a good quality selection and was varied every few days. Need to take your own tea bags as tea is weak and odd flavour, though other flavours were available. The pool was very good and warm. Nice lawn with plenty of seating and covered beds. Nice restaurants nearby. House keeping was very good each day. Hotel surrounded by very old olive trees.

The room really wasn't very soundproof and I had to use earplugs most nights.

The rooms were basic but very nice, it was extremely clean and the cleaner did sweet things like folding PJ's into swan shapes! The pool was very nice and the sunbeds too. The restaurants nearby were lovely, one was just across the road and we went there twice. The receptionist is helpful and kind.

Ideally need a car if staying here as it’s quite hilly (and on a hill!). There are some restaurants around but would need a car to go to the hub in Gouvia.
