How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The wifi wasn't great, it stopped sometimes. They came by to clean the room and refresh towels every day, but it seemed like they didn't vacuüm. When I put the towels on the rack per instruction they would replace them anyways. That is good service of course but for environmental reasons I would feel more comfortable if it wasn't replaced every day.
A classic style hotel with excellent service. For me it was a very comfortable stay, it felt like they had thought of everything. The staff was super friendly and helpful, always with a smile. It was very nice also that I could have a quick bite in the restaurant during the evening, also prices were very decent. The girl working there was so lovely and always made me feel so welcome!

the shower head did not reach the holder, so shower had to be done while sitting.
Nice staff and very nice lobby, clean rooms and nice bathroom.

Quite crowded at the breakfast, had to manouver my way to the table.
Very spacious and clean room. Great bathroom. Comfortable bed. Nice breakfast.

The room was quiet and the location was exceptional. There was planty park places in the yard of hotel. The view was nice on lake and hills.

Location is great, walking distance to center, fortress, lake. Hotel parking behind the building, free for guests. We had family room, it was large enough and very clean. Bathroom was with bathtub and plenty of towels. We liked the mattresses and pillows very much.

First off the front desk staff spoke only Greek, so it was hard to communicate. The check-in process took a while (handwriting everyone's passport information), one of our rooms reeked of cigarette smoke (apparently most are smoking rooms), and the hotel felt very dated. The rooms were very small, and one had no balcony. The fridge was tiny and didn't cool things very much. Breakfast was very expensive for the quality it offered, for those who chose it. I suggest you pick a bakery nearby and skip the hotel breakfast. Overall not satisfied. There are great options in Ioannina for cheaper.
The location is good, and the private parking was plentiful and easy to access. The rooms looked quite clean, so that was appreciated.

The hotel was in the city center and not that far from the lake and the landmarks of the city its a pretty good choice it also has a parking lot for its residents.

The location was pretty central and they had their own free car parking which helped a lot - staff very good, room clean. We did not book for breakfast. It is within walking distance to restaurants, bars, and other tourist areas.

No coffee in the morning, one balcony door would be also great. It was also very loud because of many school students.
There is Free Parking, beautiful big room, nice and kind workers, fast check in. In general We will definitely come back when we will have to stay in Ioanina.

Bed - 3/10 (extremely hard mattress) Pillows - 3/10 (extremely soft pillows) Room - 7/10 (good view, decent size) Bathroom - 5/10 (small, small shower, water goes out) Heating - 1/10 (for some reason they turned off the central heating in the evening, but at least there was an A/C to warm the room) Breakfast - 3/10 (boiled eggs, sliced cheese and feta, sliced salami, plain yoghurt, pastries and bread rolls, no heating in the room, super cold during eating)
Location - 10/10 Staff - 8/10 Parking - 8/10 (they have an outdoor parking that is shared with other buildings behind the hotel, it is closed off with a fence and gates, having cameras too)

Pet friendly!!!! Our dog, Chewbacca, had the greatest stay!!! Great location, just a short walk from the lake and city center. Very clean and great staff!!! Easy free parking!!!
