Be carefoul when we walk around the building : we went out for eat in restaurant at night, and we didn't feel safe because we saw a junky on the street, and a lot of homeless person seaking in trashes.

The room was very clean like the bathroom, kitchen and toilets (all shared). The room was comfortable, with a large bed and had climatisation. It was perfect for a night before taking the plane. The airport is one hour away in metro.

The check in protocol could have been better. The property owners warned me that (1) they have no facilities for luggage storage, and (2) they are not there all the time, so I need to communicate clearly my time of arrival, otherwise would have to give them a call and wait for a while. So, I was prepared. Prior to arrival, I advised that I'd be coming between 4:30 and 5 pm, and received a written confirmation via the Booking messaging system. I arrived by taxi at 16:32. (1) The property could have been marked better. I mean, it could have been marked, at all. There is no indication you've arrived at the right place - not a plaque, not a name on a bell button, nothing. There are rows of other unmarked buttons, making you wonder whether you should push one of them, or even whether the taxi dropped you off at a wrong address somehow. (2) Nobody was waiting for me. I ended up calling the owners via WhatsApp, the lady on the other end sounded surprised and said she was coming, "just wait 5 minutes". It took 17 minutes. Not the end of the world, but with two heavy suitcases and in 35°C (95°F), that was an experience I could have done without. I must say, when the lady arrived, she was sweet and most apologetic. She told me whoever was in charge of communications via Booking never conveyed my ETA to her. Regardless of who's responsible for that lapse, if you as a business host demand precision and respect for your time from your guests, it is reasonable to expect reciprocity on your part. (3) The entire check in process can be optimized for everybody's convenience at very little cost. There's no reason to reinvent the wheel for that. Simply install a coded key box and convey the code to your guests. It will absolve you from any presence at all, and save potential aggravation over unexpected wait on the part of the guests. All in all, a pleasant and uneventful stay.

The room was very comfortable. The price is fabulous. The apartment is well equipped, the location is very good. Although the apartment was, I believe, fully booked, we were not in each other's way in terms of either the washroom use or keeping quiet; all was well, respectful, and comfortable. I arrived by taxi from Syntagma and left by taxi to Monastiraki, due to having a lot of luggage. If you are travelling light, you can easily walk from downtown. It is quiet and peaceful at night.

The neighborhood is terrible: very poor, not safe, buildings are ruins that may collapse at any time. This is far from the image we had of Athens.

Great and friendly reception. Appartement nice and comfy: everything required is here, and we even have a map of the city. It will remember you a collocation with friends. So it's a nice and friendly habitation.

Great location easy to get to tourist sights. It was fine but note you need to provide a fairly exact time frame for arrival, since they have to let you in. I did but I was 30 mins late so I felt a little bad, but this will help you get in, I wasn't clear on that before.

Beds were not very comfortable and bathroom, although very clean, seemed old. The shower head would fall every time we turned it off (sometimes on our head). And the worse: there was gas leak in the kitchen. We closed the pipe one day because the whole kitchen smelled like gas. This made it impossible to use the kitchen throughout our stay. There is no microwave. It didn't affect us but it's nice to know that there is no full sized mirror either.

We had very little contact with staff, but they were super nice and friendly. The room and shared bathroom were sparkling clean. Location is great, very close to metro station, a market 2 minutes away and many restaurants and bakeries nearby. Nice balcony.

Didn't have reception or anyone on site, which is all good but there are shared facilities like bathrooms and kitchen. For example there was a drunk man on my floor of the building who when I arrive home was passed out on his bed with the door open, and then later I could hear him stumbling around. As a solo women traveller I didn't feel that comfortable with that situation knowing there wasn't any staff onsite,. however there are locks on all bedroom doors and it is a great deal money wise but just FYI for people who might be more concerned with safety.

The mattress was barely softer than a concrete slab. The springs were digging into my hips and shoulders all night. That's my only complaint, but it definitely made the experience less pleasant.

It was clean and we had a lovely little balcony! There were plenty of markets, cafes, and restaurants around, and it's just two metro stops from the center. The AC worked well too!
