How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Dorms are a bit small. The only thing I didn’t like was waking up early cause of grinding wheel works (I suppose for the hostel?). Way too early for this kind of noise.
It was some months ago now, being there and the hostel just had opened for about a month. I think this was one of my more funny experiences. I booked the place overnight not really realising the theme. Due to being new, there were several beginner problems - don’t worry must be all solved by now 😀 - and at a certain moment I really felt like stuck in a retro game, realising the whole building was set up that way, with levels. I spare you the details. I had no time to play the free games, but I had my very own. +But what I really liked is that it was made in a way that is possible for disabled people to stay. +There is a small terrace on top you can reach by lift. +I also love the retro neighbourhood that reminds me of how I remember Brussels, partly raised around that area. +very very comfortable showers +friendly staff +feels safe

The location of the facility was great. The attention of the employees was tremendous. They responded to emails immediately. My user satisfaction is at the highest level. If I come again, I will definitely stay here again.

Very nice atmosphere, the common kitchen and area are lovely. The staff is very helpful and nice, the rooms very clean and the beds comfy. Would go back if visiting Athens again.

This hostel is located near Omonia Square, which can feel a bit chaotic. While I didn’t encounter any danger, the graffiti around the area made me feel a little uneasy. Just be mindful of your surroundings and stay safe.
I had a great stay at this hostel! The staff were very friendly, and checking in at 1 AM was no problem at all. The front desk staff even helped me print some documents for free, which I really appreciated. The common area is also a nice space—I was able to hold several Zoom meetings there without any issues. As for the room, it was quite spacious, with curtains for privacy. The toilet and shower were separate, which was really convenient. Overall, a fantastic experience!

Everything is new and clean. There is a space under the bed where you can leave your stuff there and a locker for each bed. All of the staff are so friendly and helpful. The kitchen is well equipped as well. The only thing that I don’t like is that the toilet and the shower room is within the room. But still, this is a very nice hostel. I highly recommend.

Very friendly and new hostel. Love the kitchen area, it was very clean and cozy. I felt safe and it was quiet at night. Aircon worked perfectly, everyone was helpful and nice. Definitely will stay again!

Super modern. All the facilities in your bed to connect your cellphone. Bathrooms in the rooms, curtains. A shared area with coffee free of charge, big kitchen and another area to work from there. Close to metro.
