Room was very nice but it was next to the breakfast area which was a just a little noisy in the morning so maybe a higher floor would have been better.

People are the difference and the staff was exceptional, my partner forgot a sweatshirt and the staff notified us and had it shipped to the next town the same day. We appreciate the service, pleasant and helpful staff, and the location was in the heart of the areas we wanted to be. Thanks again for making it Great:-)

* A few more details on how to get from the parking to the location when you have multiple suitcases can be testing. * no elevator between ground floor and 1st floor.* please note it’s not possible to build the shaft vs the lack of insight to create it. This is tricky when you have suitcases to get to 1st floor where the elevator services all floors. However all staff eager to help and assist.

The location and room were excellent. The staff and specifically Christina M was an absolute champion to deal with from the first moment we arrived. A great experience and would highly recommend this property.

Good to know that since it is an old building in the old center, the taxi cannot come directly and there are stairs to get up to the room.But the stuff was so helpful with all,that it did not affect our stay,but made charming.

The location of the hotel is the best in Chania and maybe in Crete ,its in the center of the old harbour. The breakfast is really good! The service was PERFECT, Cristina and Anita was so Kind to us. Cristina helped us to discover Chania and the erea with a lot of patience and kindness. She really upgraded our vacation. Thank you 🙏🏼

We could have stayed longer!! Seriously, we were very sorry to leave, 4 nights were good but it could easily have been longer, with so much to do in the Chania area.

the breakfast was amazing, outstanding -- and different every day (very creative). All Staff were so kind, helpful. Reception staff were outstanding, so welcoming, helpful throughout out visit. Very good with recommendations, from where to eat, to parking. They consistently went above and beyond expectations. We enjoyed absolutely every interaction with them, they made our visit such a positive experience.

Shower part of room, which happens a lot in Greece, but this leaked into the room. Tap was out of ceiling above sink which gave no pressure. Only there for one night so not too much of a problem.

Having to find parking on the outside of the Old Town. The first day we arrived, not being familiar with the town, we struggled to find a place to park. It was mush easier the second day.

The best part of the stay was our interaction with Christina. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful time. The hotel location was awesome, right in the middle of the old town.

Hotel entrance and interiør in general (except the room) - does not look/ feel like a 5 star hotell. Crappy elevator and no elevator in first floor.

The Service was great and very welcoming. Have to mention Christina in the reception who is unique and really made my stay exceptional and a 5 star experience.

Everything about Scala de Fara was excellent, beyond what we expected. It is a beautiful boutique hotel, gorgeous view, excellent breakfast, and the staff was exceptional. Our concierge, Christina, was beyond helpful with our myriad of questions and we felt so welcome every morning when she greeted us, by name, and engaged in conversation about our experiences in Chania and plans for the day, we've never had such wonderful service in a hotel. We thought that breakfast could have been a but more 'local'. You can find cheese and ham everywhere in the world. They were great about accommodating my husband's fasting requirements though!

The steps to get bags up was an inconvenience to first floor with regards to suitcases etc. Could have later times for room service and the breakfast was just okay. Let guest know before coming that they have to wheel bags to hotel as no drop off in front. Just to be prepared. Nice if has more balcony choices.

Location and view was Amazing right in the center of the harbor. Easy to get to restaurants and shops. Staff especially front desk Cristina and Anita were very helpful and friendly. Niko was the first person we met and he greeted us with smile and great service
