Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

FranceVery expensive for what it is. Undrinkable and salted water in the common bathrooms. Bothering sewer odors. Abandonned cars and piles of metals all around (in the old tennis court). There was an old creepy abandonned tent juste in front of our hut. The camp is not safely closed. Everybody can come inside at night. I wasn't feeling safe there. The restaurant is expensive and the service takes very long time. The opening hours change every day. This is not a very serious attitude. They take benefit of their isolation on the island to rise the prices. The beach is nearly entirely covered with beach chairs that cost 50 euros a day. This is not very fair. There is music at the beach everyday with high basses which is heard through all the camp until very late. The beach is not clean. The bar doesn't clean all the detritus let by the consumers during the day. The beach is not clean. This is not a resting atmosphere.
Good bed.

Brunei DarussalamThe only bad part about this place is that it is so far from the city center and even Naoussa, it can be quiet complicated if you want to see other beaches and if you want to go out at night, since the last bus to the hotel is at 9pm. Other than that you can't expect the room to be a hotel like site, you are booking a camping site/huts. So you have to keep your expectations on check but considering it is not a hotel this place was so incredible and well designed. We were positively surprised
The staff at Surfing Beach Huts were so helpful and attentive at all times, they made our stay in Paros much better than it would have been without them. Likewise, the bathrooms were super clean (considering it's a camping site) and the beds on the huts were super comfortable, the bedroom had many power outlets, pillows and it was fresh at all times even during 12:00 in 39 degrees sun. The breakfast was wonderful and very cheap too.

NetherlandsFacilities are very old and run down. One toilet block only has the latrine style toilet (hole in the ground) but an other has normal toilets. No toilet paper, so bring your own.
The staff was very helpful and I liked the free shuttle to/from port. Although the facilities are run down, they keep the place clean. The location is great if you like to stay at the beach, sand, not rocks. For everything else you need transport, bus stop is nearby. There is a free evening shuttle to the town nearby. They have a restaurant and mini market.

New ZealandExpensive for what it was.. music at the pool was too loud. Squat toilets ain't it.
Close to beach, the free bus to Naoussa was great and the free shuttle to and from the port was great. Mini Market was reasonably priced

United StatesThe wifi was spotty and slow. The shower and sink water was very salty. The cabins were rustic (as expected), but the floor space was especially limited, making it hard for even 3 people to live in a double bunk bed hut.
the location is amazing. Santa Maria beach was the best beach we went to on Paros. The free shuttle at 7 pm to Naoussa was great (returned at 10 pm every night). The pool was open all day and late into the night.

HungaryThe entire place is worn down, their taxi driver started to smoke when picked me up. The huts are crazy expensive , paid €100 for sleeping on a very uncomfortable bunk bed. I did not sleep at all because the mattress is worn doqn , supersoft, was crazy noisy at 1 am, all teenegers partying, the washroom had no toiletpaper. I booked a taxi and the staff forgot, had to wait more. It was one of my worst accomodation and paid crazy high price. Don’t stay here unless you are a teeneger coming for partying with lot of money for no service.
The only thing which was great the proximity of the beach and nice water.
