How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Housekeeping was inconsistent- sometimes we would get all towels, sometimes only bath towels , didn’t wipe down coffee table, fill empty tissues or refill complimentary water daily. Lamp bulb was out, shower head was blocked - took 2 days to fix. We were there for 5 nights
Breakfast was good with different choices; staff were helpful and friendly. Location was excellent- in the middle of everything.

we didn’t have towels for 2 nights (of 3), I understand not having them the first night due to an accident of the laundry crew, that wasn’t a problem because we at least had bath robes, but the staff should have been aware that we didn’t have them the following day either. We wrote a note for the cleaning staff on the 3rd night and that’s when we got them, they were really nice and even left a heart on our note :)
staff was very nice and friendly; the room was modern, comfortable and clean; breakfast was delicious- although not a lot to choose from, which doesn’t matter if you’re only staying for a few nights; location was perfect, everything was reachable by foot

Our experience was amazing, the staff was very friendly and always happy to help, you can tell that they weren't faking it, you truly feel that they want to provide the best experience possible. The breakfast was 10/10, the shower pressure was unbelievable and the location was ideal. I would definitely stay again!

Modern hotel, in a quiet street but still close to the famous monuments. Bed is very comfortable and the Greek breakfast (with strapatsada) is just fantastic. definitely needs to be tasted!

The cleaning boy didn’t pay attention to the cleanliness of the room but due to the other things were amazing we decided not to give attention!
This is the 3rd time i have stayed in Editor Hotel,the staff is very friendly and very welcoming to us and were always ready to help us with anything we need. Staff in reception Dimitris and the others were great with us as also the staff in restaurant Maria and the other two boys were extremely friendly and helpful.Especially the boy Jamil as i remember his name we support the same basketball team and he explained us how to reach the arena in shortcuts by foot. As also Mrs Nancy the hotel manager she welcomed us and she gave us a nice and very quiet room as we were requested.Overall amazing!!!

I would prefer to have a carpet instead of a tile floor. I don't like glass doors in the toilets. Great central location.

we got room 109 which is quite dark and the positioning of wardrobe and mirror not practical , an upper floor would be nicer

Location is the best you can find. Staff is great and very helpful. Breakfast is excellent in a beautiful space.

It was my 3rd visit at Editor and I have to admit that no matter how many times I stay at this hotel every time I am pleasantly surprised and impressed by everything! The stuff is really amazing, both at reception and breakfast, they do everything in their power to make your stay comfortable, pleasant and unique in every aspect. The floor wasnt that clean. There is not to much air circulation in the coridors. Wierd smell.
The location is excelent! The staff is great! Near metro station that takes you directly from the airport. A lot of bars and food places around.

We were very well received in the reception especially "IOANNA" who was very helpful. We were were well informed about how we can spend time in Athens and also helped us to get good transport which saved us time as well as money. It is in center and close to metro station. Good breakfast was served. Safe place to stay for families and ladies.

Could be better maintained. Shower head splashing into the room.
Perfect location in central Athens. Very close to metro station. Good value for the price. Polite staff. Room very quiet.

All the staff was very polite helpful and willing to help with every thing we needed. Very nice clean and spacious rooms. Very centrally located hotel. In a walking distance to all the main attractions and market. We will definitely be back.!!

The sink is very low so you have to bend down in order to wash your hands. But this is a minor problem.
The breakfast is superb. The staff is very friendly. The location is excellent.
