Where to start, from location that is private, cousy, with plenty of parking available. Greated by smiling staff that speak multiple languages, English , German etc, very friendly. The rooms are clean, very well equipped with complemnaty fruits, water, coffee. There is on demand spa services, but you need to requested one day in advance as this is done by a different company. There is also a sauna and jacuzzi pool. Outdoor pool is nice as well, with a very well equipped bar next to it. I was surprised they had my favorite whiskey lagavulin 16y. Again staff was very friendly , gave us some complementary shoots(multiple :D and after we checked out) of tequila, the manager very attentive as well and good chit chats. They also have a restaurant, the setting is very sublime, you can see the sunset in a nice environment and the food perfectly cooked. We checked out at 11, but we were allowed to stay and use the pool and all facilities , they offered us to put our backpacks in the loockers if we wish and we left around 15:00. My advise don't miss this place, if you want to chill after a tiring trip of visiting, stop here if you are in the region. The drive from heraklion to here is easy, mostly highway.

We had an amazing stay at the Nest Resort! Everything was perfect, the reception thanks to Claudia and Katerina who were at the care of us from the beginning to the end, always with a smile! The villa with sea view was incredible, very well equipped with a large pool! The restaurant was delicious, from breakfast to dinner. Not much to complain about! We do wish there was more of an ocean view from our pool - the landscaping prevents a clear view from the pool level. Beautiful view from the bedroom patio upstairs, but I was always by the pool with kids and it would have been much nicer to watch the ocean as opposed to trees. The stairs in the house are slippery with no handrail so it was nervewracking and dangerous - especially as we were travelling with kids.

Beautiful villa. Fantastic breakfast - so, so good! Wonderful staff! Everything was beautiful, sparkling clean, and the people are so helpful and kind! The pool was absolutely lovely. The villa kitchen is incredibly well stocked with cooking utincils. Good location! The beds and pillows are so comfy! The welcome fruit was such an appreciated treat!

besides the obviously beautiful location, view and hotel, Ruhr staff really made this trip a 10/10 so welcoming and warm even before we arrived ! the food was also another unforgettable experience and the breakfast hands down the best I’ve ever had staying in any hotel, I’ll be back !

Only thing I would say is that after 11pm you cannot get food.

The property is very beautiful, the pictures do not do it justice, the whole hotel is very clean, with picturesque views of hills or the sea everywhere you look. No matter what room you get, you will have an amazing view from your room. The staff were amazing and very helpful, we arrived very late in the night, after reception times were shut but Claudia waited for us which was very nice. We were unsure where the best places in Greece to go in the area and Alex was extremely helpful. Aris the manager is extremely friendly and funny, along with Zack as well. The food was amazing, breakfast was a buffet style and the a la cartè was unlimited, the food was all to a fine dining standard. The dinner was phenomenal, the best chicken I’ve have ever had in my life. This is definitely my new go to for whenever I am in Crete.

As we were there on a family trip with kids we did not particularly enjoy the parties at night in the next door villas. Even though the place is on a quiet hillside the area is known to be a place to celebrate. If you need peace and quiet ask to be next to a villa with similar guests - either families or friend groups. If you are there to party and celebrate you are in the right place as well. You can do both there! I must hereby also say that the manager and front desk did everything to keep all guests happy and the noise down at night! Overall it was amazing!!!

Absolutely beautiful, a true gem! We had a wonderful family vacation at the Nest resort and rented a villa for 4 persons. The villa is new, clean, bautiful, well designed and very well equipped. It has everything you need. When you wish to cook yourself you have all the possibilities available in the big kitchen - even a sandwich grill! The location was perfect for us - 30 min from the airport, few minutes from a supermarket and 10-15 min drive from nice towns, restaurants and beaches. The hotel feels like you are in a private location tough - no road noise and beautiful sea views. A bit of hiking up and down the hill to get to the villa but if needed they have a golf cart to drive you as well. My kids loved the hill and running up and down. We had a few minutes of excercise with a sea view each day :) The huge private pool is amazing! The kids had a blast! There is no heating but during warm days the pool gets very warm. The kids stayed in the pool for hours at a time just playing and jumping. At night we layed outside and looked at the stars and enjoyed the warm evenings. The personell is wow! Klaudia at the front desk and the hotel manager, a true hotelier who greeted guests by their names, were always available - felt like they never left. Early morning they warmly greeted you and late at night they were there to help with anything you needed - every issue got solved with swift communication and care. Lovely people at breakfast and at the bar as well - everybody just caring and sweet. Never heard the answer no. Even when there was no milkshake at the pool they made my kid a cold chocolate shake instead that she was happy about. Also they cared about food allergies and made food for my child that was not on the menu. They gave us good tips about beaches and things to do with kids on the island. Potamos beach was great for kids - blue water and sandy beach. We went there several times.

Don’t even know how to start to begin to describe how good the nest resort is. Absolutely enjoyed everything about this place. Had a great feeling already when making the booking. Really fast and personalised confirmation. Every question for extra information (transfer shuttle, excursions, car rental) was answered super fast and personally. The transfer taxi was waiting as agreed and takes you to the resort in 30 minutes. Claudia and Katarina were waiting for us outside. Really made us feel special and we felt straight at home. Nice welcome water and explanation of the amenaties, restaurant, breakfast, spa…. Together with a welcome letter mentioning all these details. In the meantime our luggage was already brought to the room. Which was ready earlier than normal checkin. The room was absolutely perfect. View to the sea and pool area. Nice closets, desk and confortable bed. All brand new. Small but very practical bathroom with really nice rainshower and nice products. Everything is designed with perfect eye for details, without going over the top. Everything is super clean and well maintained. Pool area is amazing with confortable beds and great lunch bites and cocktails at the pool bar. Also the landscaping around the resort is super nice with beautiful flowers. Breakfast was included. And let me tell you what an amazing breakfast we had every morning. There is an amazing buffet with greek specialities, delicious fresh bread, cereals, cereal bars, jam, … then they have a large a la carte breakfast suggestions. Also included in the price. Eggs perfectly prepared. Delicious fresh fruits and you have to try the fried pancakes with fresh fruits, nuts and greek honey. We did every morning! Also great latte to start the day! The restaurant opens at 19h and is the perfect spot to end a gorgeous day. It’s the perfect place to see the sunset while drinking a cocktail and eating one of their signature dishes.

The nest resort is located only 20 min from the airport with a beautiful view onto the sea. We had an amazing stay and there was nothing more we could have asked for. The food at the nest is amazing and fresh the children loved it. The stuff is very friendly and kind and do their best not to leave any wish unfulfilled. The resort is nicely designed and has good a lovely vibe. We can only recommend the nest no matter if you’re travelling as a couple or a family.

The useless, loud and lousy music at the pool. Some design choices (a door for the shower ? a window above the bed ?)

The nest is welcoming haven and a nice alternative to bustling Hersonissos hotels. The view is splendid it is nicely decorated. Don’t miss its fabulous restaurant, its refined and revisted greek cuisine. The chef cuisine deserves a stop in itself.

We definitely were impressed by this place!! We were one of the first clients in this brandnew beautiful resort. The resort has 9 private villas each with his own private swimmingpool and they all have oceanview!! Then you have a main building with deluxe rooms and a beautiful area at the main swimmingpool with bar and a lot of other cosy sitting places to relax. The resort is build in the mountains so you have a spectacular view over the town Chersonissos. You can walk to town in about 15-20 min or a 5 min drive. We stayed in one of the private villas and it was just perfect!! Everything is from high quality and they just thought about everything. We said a few times we could live there. Everything you need was present. So do not hesitate a minute to stay here; you will not regret it!! Also the staff was outstanding!! They will go out of their reach to make sure you have a wonderful stay. Also a lot of thanks to the guys Akilis and Labros that made and brought us breakfast. The breakfast is delicious and will not be found in any other hotel. As well in the restaurant Halcyon you will fine dining with exceptional service!! Definitely try it out! So just to say that you will not only will be staying in the most beautiful resort of the area but also with the most friendly staff. From Katherina and Dimitris from the reception to the friendly cleaning staff whom are doing a excellent job. For us also a special thanks to the manager Aris!!! Thank you for everything! We would definitely return!!

Facilities are brand new and very well taken care of, I do believe we were two of the very first guests in the compound. Location was great, just for the views it is well worth a visit! Breakfast was also excellent and the staff were extra helpful with a couple of extra things we needed. Will be back for sure!
